SurfNest Hostel

Stayed there for a week :) it was nice and relaxing. Not a party hostel but the volunteers will place music sometimes in the night before going out. Water for free which is a plus! Rooms are big and they keep the space clean. Close to the beach but 25min walk to either Zicatela beach and La Punta

- cold shower and the pressure is going everywhere - no lock on the door, everybody can just enter your room - not every volunteer was as kind as the other. Some were very helpful and being a good host while the other didn’t care of hosting you and are rather chilling with the other volunteers - it would be good if curtains were darkening because you don’t have a light in your bed and people turn on the one big light at all times

Pool, outdoor space. Felt comfortable. Was friendly but not a party hotel, perfect for what I was looking for.

There was nothing light inside dorm bed space. There were privacy curtains but no interior lights in your bed. The lighting outdoors at night was too dim and no lighting in the bed so it didn’t feel like a win situation for someone on the more chill side.

El personal es muy amable, el gerente es una persona muy responsable, atenta y está siempre al pendiente para generar la mejor experiencia de todos los huéspedes. Las habitaciones son muy cómodas, la cocina es amplia y tiene muchos espacios comunes. Está muy bien ubicado, en una zona tranquila pero cerca de todos los puntos importantes en zicatela. La verdad es que fue una estadía 10/10! Y tengo intenciones de regresar. Muchas gracias.

Desparecieron cosas de mi canasta de comida: un suplemento en polvo, y un aguacate. :( No sé si serían los gatos o algún huésped. Como recomendación guarden sus alimentos en los locker que proporciona el hostal en la cocina.

Shower was not working properly and the water was cold, the room didn’t have a window and was next to the entrance, so we could hear everything coming from outside
