Wish I got more sleep

The Location is actually pretty good since you are close to the beach and also behind an excellent market with fantastic food. You can get room service and fresh towels daily.

It was so loud! There were many children and door-slamming youth, the acoustics are a nightmare due to the style of the building. There is also amazingly much traffic in front of the house, one night someone got stuck in the sand and held me awake.

If I were to return solo, I will definitely stay again here.

The staff and owner/manager handled the situation I made for this trip. After 23 days traveling places in Mexico, I made a mistake on the reservation. I contacted Booking.com and Oliver from the hotel handled and helped me resolved the situation. I really appreciated!

Nothing really, it met the expectation from what the pictures and review I saw from booking.com. I really like the location as I always look for whenever making hotel reservation as a solo traveler. Location and safety. I like walking as my daily therapy and this place is situated between Zicatela Beach and Punta Zicatela, plus right few meters away from a great market. Zicatela Marcedo, I find many things there including affordable food/drinks. I also stayed in La Barra before this place, which also I had my review here.

Staff was phantastic, we arrive nearly in the morning with the night bus and they let us in the room right away, left with a night bus again and they let us stay in the room longer for a final shower. Super close to the beach and real nice place.

WiFi was pretty unreliable and lacked very often Very bright and cold light in the room, a warmer light would make staying in the room in the evening way more comfortable

Super nice,helpful and attentive staff, well sized and clean room, great AC, hot water, location is amazing (just across the beach and kind of “underneath”/behind the big Zicatela Market.

There’s a construction site next to the hotel but if you’re not planning on staying inside the room all day it shouldn’t bother you.

Cleanliness and the friendliness of the staffs

I made a mistake when booking and accidentally I booked 2 rooms. 10 minutes later I corrected this error. Booking tried to help me but despite this, the hotel charged 50 % cancellation fee!! The hotel is very noisy and there is no blackout blind at the window. Car headlights illuminate the whole room! The water is mostly cold. there is no fridge and no safe. The hotel is far from the city, Many construction sites nearby. Nobody is able to speak English

Good central location on Zicatela. The building is brand new, so the rooms are clean, modern and everything works well.

The walls are paper thin so you can hear noise from other guests. The location itself, however, is very quiet.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and clean, with a great bed and good bathroom and shower. Beach visible from the room and just a 5 minute walk away. Wi-Fi generally pretty good. Airconditioning and fan worked perfectly.

The hotel is quite noisy. Cars parking outside the room (motel style) and the voice of guests and staff echo loudly. I didn't sleep well as a result. There were maybe 4 hours during the night when it was relatively quiet. If you can cope with earplugs, remember to bring them.

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable, the staff are really nice and always ready to help you

For 50 us dollar you are expected something more, like free soap and shampoo, that there were not inside the room, i asked for that, but they told that the shampoo it's not free you have to pay 20 pesos, which is ok, but for the price you should to give to the guest at list shampoo and soap. In the morning like 7 am the staff star to talk to each other just in front of my room really loud. If you want to improve your service just don't be so loud at list until 9 am. Because we are trying yo sleep in the early morning.

Location is a little far from the main area, but still on the main strip by the beach. When we needed to leave to get our bus the guy at reception tried to call us a cab but one never came so we had to run down to the main area to catch a taxi in time.

Clean, hot water with great water pressure, spacious rooms and solid air-conditioning. Hotel attendant was very nice. 2 blocks from beach.

Walls are thin so everything can be heard. A bit of a walk to la punta on dark roads so taxi is recommended. Wifi doesnt work in rooms. Very basic with no onsite amenities.
