Lovely house on quiet street

Very cozy and on a quiet street. Gary the host was great in his communication with us and we enjoyed how comfy the beds were!

The bathroom being a semi-wet room was a bit annoying after showering as water could escape the shower area if not careful. The general vibe of the house felt a bit outdated but was perfectly comfortable and clean.

Generally excellent facilities. One of us loved being in the Creggan area. Easy to get around with a walking stick, and we could park right outside the front door.

Some rooms are warmer than others, so check before you decide who has which bedroom.

Nice location and adequate house

House is in great location, has 3 good sized double bedrooms, host went out their way to get us an extra travel cot as well which was much appreciated with 2 babies with us, very easy instructions for getting in and out and host super contactable and nice, nice quiet area and good parking out front, host left info in house for food etc

the bathroom is beyond the kitchen which I found a bit strange and wasn't very convenient for during night but the bathroom was adequate, the living room door doesn't close tight which was a bit of a struggle with a toddler who likes to run for the stairs, there was no hoover available but there e was a dustpan and brush, no hoover meant floors could get grubby quickly and not good for keeping place tidy (no toddler you wouldn't even notice things so totally subjective), all that said i would stay here again

Great home from home

This was a cosy, comfortable property with lots of facilities nearby. Takeaway, cafe, post office, supermarket and bar all less than 5 minutes walk. Across the road, there’s a good sized park and council run sports centre. The property was clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable. The location is great with short walk (10 minutes through the park) into the city centre. Recommend a taxi home as the hills can be strenuous on the way back up. There’s plenty to see in the city centre and no trip would be complete without a visit to the bars who host musicians most nights.

Very helpful host, value for money, functional house, quite area.

Quite location. We found parking space on the street each time. The heating system and WiFi works well. The house is as seen in the adverts, neat and functional. There is a folder of information on take aways, restaurant, taxis etc in the lounge. Gary was very helpful and gave us all the information we needed ahead of time. He arranged early check-in for us too but our flight was delayed so didn't need it but we requested 2 hours late checkout which he gladly granted.

I must have missed the fact that the toilet/bathroom was downstairs when I did the booking but it turned out not to be too much of an inconvenience. There was no 'wow!' factor for me which I like to see when in a home away from 'home'. I knew this from the adverts though but might be something the host can improve on. The house and fixtures/furnishings could do with some updating/modernising for a better appeal.

We liked the coziness - we all huddled together for a movie on Saturday night which was lovely, and the comfort - especially of the bedrooms. Our daughters, especially, loved the house and would return.

It was very cold and dank when we arrived and it took us a while (and some trial and error) to get the bedroom radiators to work. We couldn’t get the bathroom radiator to work. The hob didn’t work and we struggled to use the oven.
