Really nice property in a good location

Anne, the host met us at the property prior to check-in so that we could drop off our bags. This was really helpful and appreciated. Location was excellent, quiet area but 10 minutes from the restaurants and city centre pubs. A few local pubs and a newsagent just around the corner. Next to the city walls. Size of property, plenty of space for six. The property had everything you needed and lots of nice wee extras. Anne, thank you for the biscuits.

We couldn't find any hairdryers and when we enquired about this we didn't get a response. Not a big issue as we brought our own but if this is important to you you should enquire before you arrive. The ground floor bedroom had no wardrobes or hanging rails.

Great city centre location

Host Anne was lovely and greeted us at the house with her cute dog. Very good location, just 5-10mins walk from the centre. Quiet street and easy to find. The accommodation had all the essentials and many extras such as champagne flutes, ice and and cafetiere. We would definitely stay again.

It is an older house so some doors and bare floorboards can be very loud. The groundfloor shower was tricky to get the temperature right.

Lovely, comfortable house, close to City Walls, the City Centre and Free Derry Corner. Very cosy and well-equipped. The host, Anne, could not have been more helpful and she provided us with lots of recommendations on where to go in the area.

An excellent option for anyone visiting Derry. We stayed here for two nights and I'll definitely be looking to come back at my next available opportunity. Anne was friendly and welcoming, and everything was explained with crystal clarity - she offered great advice on where to go for food and drinks, too. All the bedrooms were extremely comfortable - I really found it hard getting out of the bed thanks to how snug it was. There are two showers if you're sharing the accommodation with friends, which was very handy. The house is a ten minute walk from Derry City centre, which made it incredibly easy to bounce in and out of town as needed. Great value for money and just a really pleasant experience overall.

I'd be hard pressed to say anything negative, and the only note of advice is about something that can't be helped. Parking outside is a tough task due to the narrow street. Rather than offer it up as a criticism of the property (as I said, it can't be helped when you're so close to the city centre!) I'd suggest that people car pool when they're travelling up as it will make the parking situation much easier for you. Otherwise, everything here is excellent and it's a great spot to stay.

Home from home in a beautiful city!

Anne met us at her house with the keys and made us very welcome. She showed us how to use the lockbox outside with 2 other sets of keys inside. The house looks small from the outside but was massive inside with 3 floors, a downstairs wet room, spacious kitchen and living room & One twin bedroom on ground floor. A spacious double bedroom on the second floor with a seperate large bathroom& walk in shower. Another big double bedroom on the third floor and smaller bedroom with single bed. There is also a spare single matress if needed. Beds were clean & comfy. We slept like babies! There were plenty of clean towels, toiletries, wardrobes, sockets etc. A hairdryer was also supplied. Kitchen had just been extended, was modern and again had everything that was needed, cooking utensils, crockery, cups, cutlery, ironing board & iron, even a sewing kit and umbrella. There were biscuits, tea, coffee, salt, sugar, sauces, jam, washing liquid, detergent etc & many more things left for us to use. Anne showed us how to use washing machine, tumble dryer, cooker, heating etc. There was also a white board with Anne's contact details, WiFi details, emergency numbers etc on display. The location of the house was perfect! Within walking distance to city center, shops etc. We had a lovely 5 days here and honestly have to say it was it felt like Home from Home. We would highly highly recommend it if you're thinking of visiting this beautiful City!

A fantastic house with a lovely host who actually goes out of her way to ensure your comfort!

The property was in an excellent location with everything you could possibly want on your doorstep. I have stayed in many properties through Booking.com and this is definitely one of the best. Our host Anne met us when we arrived and and was most welcoming not to mention thoughtful and very generous. She had bought us milk, tea bags etc which did save us money and a trip to the shops. I will say that the photographs do not do this place justice. The house was spacious with excellent facilities and two very well equipped bathrooms. Toiletries were supplied and the beds were so comfortable. I suppose the best way to describe the house is to say home to home. Do not hesitate to book this place - you will definitely not be disappointed.

We had a lovely weekend in Derry. Anne met us at the house on Friday afternoon. She was wonderfully friendly and made us feel so welcome. The accommodation fit 7 of us very comfortably. The beds were comfy and the house was very clean. Anne even left us some stuff for breakfast and treats. The house is a very short walk to the pubs and restaurants. And there's free on street parking outside of the house. We'll definitely stay again.

A Lovely House in a Central Location

Anne met us at the house and gave us some great tips and directions. The house is in a quiet, yet central, location. Plenty of places to eat out or socialize were nearby, as are the Derry Walls. It was very comfortable, very reasonably priced. It was a pleasure dealing with Anne who, as said, was extremely helpful and generous with her time.
