An amazing inspired location in an interesting city with a fabulous view.

The location was superb and inspired. The host was very helpful in allowing early entry and was most welcoming. Comfortable lounge furniture. Very spacious.

The property is in need of some detailed loving care. Missing tv freeview box and broken control. Poor quality pans and kitchen tools. That the description omitted to say that the bathroom / WC was not on the same level as the bedrooms. Bathroom needs TLC . Hand rails to access stairs and balcony in need of paint.

Great views from the apartment. Plenty of space there. Parking wasn't an issue either. Dee was available through text/phonecall if we needed anything. Apartment had everything you needed.

Only small thing was the shower head holder wasn't working, but that is only something minor and didn't take from our stay.

The accommodation was great. Very generously proportioned, clean and comfortable. And the view of Derry from the balcony windows was amazing. Dee was a very helpful and generous host who took us to the property and showed us round. He also talked us through the history of the city, pointed out landmarks from the balcony and gave really good suggestions as to what to do.

I would not rent this apartment for the second time

Didn't like anything. I would not rent this apartment for the second time! Everything was dirty, not comfortable. The curtain has fallen. Internet does not work.

Didn't like anything. the house is dirty, the internet is 3 mb. If someone is watching internet phone. TV no longer works. Internet is very weak. Sometimes the internet didn't work.

The view was brilliant and Dee was extremely knowledgeable about recent history which guided us in picking activities and where to visit. Centrally located with cheap taxis and delivery services. Would definitely stay here again.

Hospitality from Dee the owner and the tour of the city he offered was amazing. Dee spent 2.5 hours guiding us around Derry explaining the political history of Northern Ireland. I thoroughly recommend staying at Dee's and going on the tour, very interesting and highly informative! Thanks Dee!

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The decor was excellent and made our stay very pleasant. Very comfortable bed the kitchen was well equipped we really could not have asked for a better place to stay. Wonderful value for money with a host who was welcoming knowledgeable and helpful. We will both look forward to returning.

NOT ONLY AN ACCOMODATION AN EXPERIENCE

I loved everything, Deen (the owner) not only showed us the BEST hidden spots in Derry as we also picked us from the bus station, giving us the best tips!! On the last day he helped us leaving our bags at his mom’s house until our bus time. Deen gave us not only an accommodation, he gave us the incredible experience that we’ll never forget, thanks so much and don’t think twice about booking with him.

It’s a bit far by walking from town, we took a Taxi every time which costed us £5, in my opinion wasn’t expensive.

The View absolutely lived up to its name. A fantastic panorama outlook across the beautiful city of Derry. A very comfortable and spacious accommodation for our family. Super convenient for popping into the city, or any travels in the area. Amazing hospitality from our host - giving a warm welcome with great tips on things to do in and around Derry.

The View was a fantastic apartment looking over the city and the river Foyle. Loved looking down at the lights at night. The owner was one of the nicest people we've met on our travels and had plenty of information to share on the area and things to do. We would definitely recommend and would be happy to revisit

Host was aggressive and creepy.

I booked for 4 girls, 7 of us ended up staying the second night (we realise this is a breach of the terms of booking). However we were being watched on the door cam. The host rang us while we were out for dinner and said he saw that there was 7 of us. We said they were our friends and he was very aggressive and said it was booked for 4 people. That night when we got home the host arrived and kicked 3 of us out at 4am, getting me out of bed to shout at me.I was crying and begging him if we could pay extra as there was plenty of room and we live over 2 hours away and its a strange city. We are 24 years old and we had nowhere to go. He was extremely aggressive both in person and on the phone. I rang the police to get some advice and played him on loud speaker on the phone to the police. The operator said he was concerned about how aggressive the host being considering we are a group of young girls in a strange city and offered to send someone over. We decided that 3 of us would just pack up our stuff and try to find somewhere else to stay. We ended up sleeping in my car until the next morning. It was a very upsetting experience I understand we were wrong to have extra people but we weren’t doing any harm/ having parties/ making noise. The host then arrived the following morning to kick the 4 remaining girls out. Confirmation email said check out was between 8 and 12. He arrived at 10 am saying that check out was at 10. Again he was very aggressive and angry, refusing to leave as the girls asked could he please step outside and give them some privacy to get dressed as they didn’t want him watching them come and go from the bathroom as they got ready. (The one bathroom is right beside the front door and he refused to move away from it). He told the girls that it was his house and he made the rules, not them. We are all traumatised and disgusted. This one horrible old man ruined our first ever trip to Derry.
