We checked in late and Taylor was very helpful to us, it was central enough and warm
The breakfast was not good, the brown bread was almost stale, the pancakes were stuck together they were so cold and the worst part was that we were given a half slice of toast each (there were 3 of us) with our fry up, that’s one and a half slices of toast between 3 people, I asked for more toast and got the same again, I asked a third time and the lady gave me a very disapproving look and reluctantly gave us some more, we ended up with just 2 slices of toast each … that should’ve been available to us from the outset,

Staff was amazing and very helpful. Location, we came right as the Halloween festival was ending which made it easy to the parade and fireworks! Loved the Castle key for the doors as well!

Fantastic b&b, spotless throughout, all staff were really pleasant. Tonya was lovely and couldn't do enough for us, allowed us a late checkout because we were attending an event that didn't start till 1pm, we will definitely be back!

The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The room was clean with good bedding. Breakfast was good also though I’m not keen on fizzy orange instead of fresh orange. The location is just over the bridge so an easy walk into the town centre.
The room overlooks a busy road so was a little noisy and not a great view.

Near the train station
Very comfy bed
Unable to hear busy traffic when windows closed.
The room did become warm, if you have the windows open you can hear the busy traffic.

The Inn was clean both inside and outside! The room was large with an attached private bathroom. The shower had plenty of hot water and great water pressure. The Wi-Fi was fast and easy to connect with. The included breakfast was terrific. The staff were all very friendly...
I can't think of anything that I didn't like about my stay.

Friendly staff, good breakfast. Clean bedding.
Decor in our room could do with a freshen up. Looks poor from the outside, better inside. Room not as nice as booking.com photos.

It was near but not too near to the Walled City of Derry. A quick walk over the bridge and 15 minutes into central Derry. Great pub downstairs with karaoke and lively locals. Not heard upstairs so quiet and peaceful sleep. Nice full Irish breakfast in the morning.
Initially a super foul smell but recent plumbing had done work creating new problem. It was quickly resolved and all was well! 👍

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at the Iona Inn. Its location, a short walk from the train station, is very handy and it’s close to both bridges to walk to city centre. Aine was very welcoming and informative and the room was spacious, lovely and clean with a newly refurbed bathroom. We loved the fact there was room for a table and chairs so we could relax with a cuppa. Plenty of wardrobe space and the beds are super comfy too! We really enjoyed the fry up at breakfast, set us up for a walk round the walls and the shops. We felt it was great value for money, definitely recommend the Iona Inn and would stay again.
There was a fair bit of traffic noise throughout the night and early morning but - you’re in a city so that’s par for the course!

Easy check in. Very clean and comfortable for our group of five. Delicious breakfast. Short 10 -15 minute walk to town. We were able to park in a nearby parking lot overnight (free after 5.30pm). Tonya was a wonderful host and excellent at communicating with us in WhatsApp.

Great location, 10-15 mins on foot from the walled city, tasty fried breakfast though without mushrooms and tomatoes in our case. Nice view from the window if you’re on the upper floor.
We got an odd room with 4-5 beds in it ( we booked it as a couple). However, the beds were comfortable. It was also a bit cold in the room in late March but it’s possible we didn’t know how to use the heating system properly.

Large spacious room. Good size beds. Breakfast included.
Minor gripe only. Rooms/building is next to a working pub, which we didn't realise. So with a child the bit of noise made getting to sleep a bit less easier. But once asleep it was fine. Again only a minor issue. The rest was great.

Lovely setting and staff. Just fabulous! Beautiful room and very comfortable bar and back patio. Staff were wonderful - made us feel very welcome and they were passionate about sharing this gorgeous inn and part of Northern Ireland. Wonderful food and attention to detail in the restaurant.
All good!
