We liked pretty much everything about this place - the room was clean, comfortable and pleasant, the price was fair and affordable, and the location was perfect. We also really enjoyed meeting and talking with the proprietor, Kieran, on the morning we had to leave, and wished we'd been able to stay in Derry (at Number 8) awhile longer. Would definitely book here again and will recommend to others, as well.
There was really nothing we didn't like.

Lovely period rooms that were very comfortable on a quiet street.
No on site staff. The information given was that reception was manned until 6pm. If the property made it clear that it would be a self check in I would have been more diligent in checking messages for updates on instructions. Once contact was established Keiran was very helpful but I get the feeling he may be overworked.
