Nice place, bit of annoyances though.

Nice place overall

My food was first partially eaten by someone and then disappeared completely out of the fridge within 24 hours. Also the fire alarm went off while I was in the shower. After notifying staff I never even received a reply, after waiting outside for about 10 minutes with it still going I left and came back about an hour later. Apparently it was a false alarm.

Wonderful stay.

We actually did not stay at the Hestia House. We were upgraded to another property Lawrence Rooms, which was amazing. The room was not large but had everything we needed. The breakfast was amazing each day. Our hosts were so great. There was an open fire in the lounge that was very hot and welcoming.

Absolutely amazing

We got a free upgrade from a room to a full apartment and the apartment was absolutely amazing. Had everything we needed and even provided tea, coffee, milk, etc. Cooking facilities etc for longer stays. The bed was really nice and comfortable, we didn't want to leave it! Emmett and his colleague who helped with the parking were both very welcoming and really helpful. Especially the man who helped me park my car (there is free parking right outside or just down the road)

Delightful Derry

Had an absolutely fantastic time. The Art House was lovely, really well presented. Staff were brilliant. Derry is absolutely phenomenal. Love the history, the people, the vibe of the city. Absolutely brilliant stay. And the car remained parked up the entire weekend as the property is so close to everything. Thanks for the recommendations and hospitality. 5*. That is some hill up to the house. 🤣. Got our steps in. We’ll be back. 100%.

We received a free upgrade to the jazz house. This was a beautiful and unique stay. Comfortable room with privacy and access to everything you would need for a stay. The breakfast was exceptional and the staff were all lovely and went above and beyond for us. Check in and check out was a straightforward process too.

Beautiful cosy room

A spacious room with beautiful decoration, close to the city center and to many restaurants and pubs. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom very clean.

We would prefer that there were more options in the free breakfast included, such as yogurt/fruit.

Great stay and lovely staff.

We stayed at the Art House. The suite we stayed in was fantastic for our needs. We had a separate sitting area and it really made a difference. The communal areas of the house were spotless and the kitchen was really well stocked. Location wise, it is central, just a short stroll into the centre. The staff were all so friendly and made us feel so welcome.

Horrible check in experience

The room was really nice and clean. The location was great.

Check in experience was horrendous. The guest who stayed had to listen to the hotel staff giving out that it wasnt me that was checking in and they told him I was putting people at risk by not being the person checking in. I also recieved a phone call at 8.30pm that was very alarmist saying that I only had 30 minuts to check in but then when I asked a few questions it was actually fine. No need for this weird added stress

Very comfortable room and very clean. The breakfast was very nice and delivered to our room every morning which was a nice touch. The host was welcoming and friendly. All in all it was a lovely stay. We would definitely recommend hestia house to anyone.

Beautiful boutique hotel

We recently stayed at the Art House for two nights and it was absolutely fabulous! Check-in was friendly, efficient and quick and our host Emmett showed us to our room. He showed us the other amenities available to us at the property - full kitchen facilities, free tea and coffee, a lovely lounge area to relax, a dining area to eat and a cool outdoor area complete with canopy and heater. The decor was first class - very trendy and on point. It matched the Art House name to a tee. Our room was on the first floor with an ensuite. The room certainly didn't disappoint - what a comfortable bed!!! A lovely ensuite with a great shower and shower products. Every detail was spot on! The Art House is in a lovely quiet area with lots of free onstreet parking. It is close to the city centre that has lots of great pubs and restaurants to choose from. We really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back! 100%

Staff were great. Room large. Lovely shower. Comfy bed. Very warm but could regulate heating. Close to town. Outside area vèy plush.

Kitchen a bit cramp. Would be good to have less furniture and more seating space. Hard to get into washing machine, felt busy with staff doing sheets/towells. Road works noisey in day but not hotels fault, otherwise quite and slept well threw night.

The Lawrence is a beautiful hotel and has a lot of atmosphere, staff are very helpful and friendly.

On arrival we were upgraded to The Lawrence so my comments are based on that hotel. Beautifully decorated, friendly staff, handy location. I would definitely stay again. Breakfast was lovely!

Positives first: Emmet the owner was very friendly and showed us around and to our room. The place is clean and nicely furnished. Walking distance to city centre.

Unfortunately our breakfast wasn't great. I ordered pancakes and they were cold and looked store bought. My partner had a fry but the beans were cold. Our room was described as a king room, but it was quite small.
