Riverside Apartment

Loved the location of the property overlooking the river , very scenic especially as the weather was lovely.and very close to lots of restaurants and bars. Clean, funky decor, nice kitchen. Little coffee maker was a nice touch. Very comfortable living room and beds were comfy.

Bathroom needs a refurb. The shower head was a bit dodgy and hot water was only sporadic for 4 people showering. There was no hot water in the kitchen sink at all. This may have been because heating was off due to hot weather but hot water should always be available. We also had issues with the TV as the signal kept cutting out. Too many remotes. We are pretty tech savvy, particularly my son and he struggled too. Wasn’t a big issue as we were out and about a lot but bit frustrating. Finally, the patio doors are impossible to close once opened. There was no info saying not to open them, but anyway we had to push a coffee table up against them to stop them blowing open. These are small niggles but avoidable. I have to say 2 workmen arrived as we were leaving, perhaps to sort out these issues .

The location was really great. It was very clean, lots of space and very nicely decorated

We didn’t like the bathroom, that is our only complaint. It was very old fashioned, the shower wasn’t great, very slippery floor and a funny smell coming from the side of the bath.

The stay was very good: comfortable beds, good Wi-Fi, all the necessary items in the kitchen to cook our own food, excellent location, just a few minutes' walk from the center where there were also many restaurants and cafes, the building was quiet, with an elevator… and as a bonus we had extra towels, which was great because we stayed a whole week there. I recommend it and if I return to Derry I will stay there again!

Check-in was a bit of a hassle because I hadn't received any instructions by the time it was supposed to be, but it was resolved, and they came to give me the key and explain everything about the apartment! The building's door lock was broken, but it didn't bother me because the building has cameras at the entrance, so it monitors everyone, including intruders!

Good size, nice decor. Friendly and helpful host.

WiFi stopped working on Morning 1 and didn't start working until late on Day 2. There was no hot water, except for the shower, at any point.
