Relaxing

The location was excellent for us as we could walk into Stornoway and easily drive to the places we wanted in visit in North Lewis. The apartment was a lovely place for us to relax for a couple of days part way through a road trip.

A wonderful place to use as the base for our travels around Lewis and Harris.

Very comfortable and all the facilities were tip top. Everything was spotless and we apprehend little extras which makes these sort of stays more personable.

Excellent House and Location

Excellent hosts and fantastic house very clean and lots of provisions and extras left by Linda and family. Made us very welcome from the start. Very comfortable house to stay in. Washing machine was good to use. We definitely recommend this house and very close to shops and town centre within walking distance. All round excellent.

Comfortable Retreat

Spotlessly clean. Small but with everything you need for a short break. 20 - 25 minutes walk into town (free parking at the property if you have a car). Bathroom on ground floor with additional toilet & basin upstairs which lets early risers move around without disturbing anyone else. Decent supermarket (Co-op) 10 minutes away on foot.

Nice clean house, about half an hour’s walk from the centre of Stornoway

It had good facilities and was very cosy

I was actually too warm at night. I would have appreciated a thinner duvet

very well equipped cottage. The Harris Tweed chair. The *welcome* goodies much appreciated after a long journey.

After a short while the rest of the chairs became uncomfortable to sit in. Uncomfortably hot during the spell of REALLY HOT WEATHER ( obviously not the owner's fault ! )

Siamo stati benissimo in questa deliziosa casa, spaziosa, accogliente, fornita di tutto ciò di cui si possa aver bisogno. Abbiamo apprezzato in particolare la pulizia, il grande bagno, la cucina attrezzatissima, il WiFi molto potente, la possibilità di parcheggiare comodamente la nostra macchina.

Non c'è nulla che non ci sia piaciuto. Frequentando spesso il Regno Unito siamo abituati anche ai rubinetti con acqua calda e fredda separati! 😁
