A Modern 2 Bedroom Apartment with Beautiful Views

The central location was really good, also having somewhere to park safely. Lovely view of Lews castle, especially at night with the lights shining on it. It had everything you needed for a comfortable stay.

Not that we didn't like it. Wee things that annoys me. The taps in the kitchen need sorting. Toilet seat, moves every time you use it. Don't get me wrong, still a braw place to stay.

I had a wonderful time here and found it an excellent self-catering base for exploring Lewis & Harris. The friendly owner had carefully thought of all that might be required for a comfortable stay and responded quickly and helpfully to any queries that I had during the visit. There is a designated parking space which is so helpful as hiring a car is fairly necessary for visiting the island. The view from the front window is magnificent, straight onto the river and across to Lews Castle. The bedrooms are at the rear which makes it nice and quiet to sleep at night. The location is perfect, right near the centre of town close to shops and cafés.

This is not a criticism but if anyone has mobility issues, they need to know that they will have to climb a couple of flights of stairs to the apartment which can be a challenge with suitcases etc.
