Great location for town centre

Great location, stunning outlook. Warm and comfortable.

Arrived at night, there was no lighting so it was difficult to access the property, bring a torch! Booking procedure via Effective Stays was involved and inconvenient and included added cost, would not book an Effective Stays property again.

2 nights at the studio

We liked the location, the guidance for check in, and the reserved car park space. The garden is beautiful on thd riverside

No storage facilities in bedroom, bathroom or in the kitchen part of the studio. All the toiletries had to be placed on the floor. No drawers for clothes in the bedroom. Such a shame as it's a lovely place with plenty of space.

The property was perfectly set out had everything you needed, so easy to get into town, on the river. The most beautiful garden, with fantastic apple tree, we made apple sauce. It was the perfect weekend break, definitely coming back.

Peaceful and relaxing.

Excellent location within a short walking distance of the centre of Shrewsbury and the river Severn at the bottom of the garden.

Be warned, there is almost no storage for your clothes; there is a small hanging rail in the utility cupboard but no drawers, so expect to be living out of your suitcase.

Overall we had a great 3 night stay at Quarry View and will consider staying again.

very good location with easy access to town centre via river path. great outlook over a garden. Airy, clean, comfortable accommodation. Great to have the parking. Plenty of eateries in town.

Path through garden to access property was difficult due to overgrown trees/shrubs so walked over wet grass, not ideal. Would think anyone with mobility issues might struggle, no mention of this when booking. No shelf in bathroom for toiletries. No drawer/shelf in bedroom for clothes. Not enough work top in kitchen especially if you want to make your own meals.

Riverside luxury

Wonderful location by the river Severn and a short walk along to the Boathouse Pub/Restaurant. Very tastefully done. It was lovely to sit on the decking and enjoy listening to the bells ringing at St Chad's church.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Overall, great loved it.

Location was great, instructions to park car and get keys all good. Place was lovely, bed comfy.

Kitchen section could be a little better. Main issue when we arrived, I noticed a smell from the bathroom - a little like stagnant water. It was OK after opening windows, but it was still there when you were in bathroom - could be the shower section. Also when opening the doors the locks were a bit tricky - got the knack after but instruction to open one door may have made more sense.

Wonderful relaxing stay in a great location - a lovely property

fantastic location and beautiful garden with an amazing outlook onto the river. The property was spotlessly clean and the bedroom and living area were bright and spacious.

Bathroom was very small and shower was powerless to say the least!

A three day visit to Shrewsbury. A lovely place, we will be back.

The property was very spacious with a lovely garden that went down to the river and a nice seating area on the terrace.

The lack of storage. There was no chest of drawers to put your clothes in. No place for your toiletries in the bathroom and the crockery was permanently on the dinning table as there was no cupboard space for it. I don’t understand the lack of storage when the property was so spacious and easily had the room. I hate having to leave my clothes in the suitcase.

Superb

Location superb along the Riverside. 5 minutes walk to centre of town and 3 minwalk to nice pub with good food.

Everything was fantastic. Very minor issues like we couldn't get the fridge cold enough and toilet seating insecure. But these didn't spoil our stay here.⁹

Two huge gardens, very nice neighbor, I have spent beautiful and wonderful 19days in Shrewsbury

wonderful garden appartment - all impeccable. Big windows giving view to sunny south oriented garden. Modern furniture - all super clearn and tasteful. Perfect for a short stay or longer vacation. Walking distance to town. River view. Very nice owners who live on close by.
