Shrewsbury town.
Toilet not working,so stayed out from 9am till 4.40pm still not fixed, went home a day earlier, only to be compensated £80 ,less than half the money I paid ,for a 2 night stay. I've been treated appalling, ruined my 60 th Birthday. Waited over a week for a refund. Had to message many times to who ever ruins the apartment for any money back. Shame on you!

What a stunning building, its beautiful, location to Shrewsbury town is fantastic. Home from home, everything you needed was there. I cannot express how beautiful the building is. Location to the park and even hearing the church bells was lovely. Great to visit other places, we visited Oswestry and Whitchurch.
Having to pay for parking, you have to budget into your trip as it became quite pricey as we stayed for 5 days. Such a shame there is no parking provided as there is space right outside the building but it is for loading only.

A well thought out apartment with everything we needed. Communication with the owner was easy and pleasant.
No complaints whatsoever

Location was brilliant. Checking in was easy using the door code. Lovely character property and warm and cosy. Owner provided good details re parking which was helpful. Water pressure was good in the shower. Nice touch with drink and snacks on arrival which was appreciated after a long journey.
Some aspects of the property are a bit tired for example the bedside table was very wobbly and we had to prop it up on our charger plug. WiFi wasn’t great. States toiletries are provided however there is just a mismatch of I’m guessing what previous guests have left, luckily we packed some of our own. There was only half a toilet roll for the weekend and couldn’t find any other in the cupboards. We also couldn’t find a teaspoon, on the last day we looked in the dishwasher to find one dirty spoon had been left in there, again disappointing that things like that were not checked before allowing us to check in. The handle to the apartment door is broken and the door catch actually came off when we were trying to check out and we were stuck for about 15minutes. I did message the owner however no reply which was a bit disappointing.

Very conveniently located for the town centre and spotlessly clean. Quiet and not much road noise. Plenty of space. Bed was extremely comfy. A nice park just a short walk away.
Wasn't able to access Netflix on the TV but that didn't bother us.

The location was very central. easy walking distance to the centre and main attractions
Parking was £ 6.40 per day in a long stay car-park about 15minutes walk away Parking seemed to be possible for drop off. The hosts were extremely friendly and professional; Any queries were sorted out amicably

Easy access to the Market Hall and the city by foot. The rooms were large and the shower was excellent.
Parking wasn't easy but that is no fault of the property. The car park just down the hill cost £2 an hour but was free from 6pm until 8am.
There was the basic coffee suppied and little extra treats but no milk.

The apartment was great! Such a nice place in an ideal location. So glad we found this place. Nice little gifts left which was a very nice touch. THANK YOU!
We have zero complaints.

Location was great - very central. The property is also very spacious.
No parking - you can load and unload but the wardens keep a close eye on you. Best long term parking was across the river in Frankwell main car park, approx 10 minute walk away. The label by the front door doesn't state which apartment it is (looks like it has worn off) but you can work it out from the others.

Being In the thick of the vibrant town centre.
Met some very friendly people , both local and other holiday makers.
All the hospitality staff were professional and pleasant, nothing too much trouble.
The local Veesu taxii drivers deserve a special mention, very friendly and helpful.
Above all our neighbour for the duration went the extra mile and helped us enormously.
We have been to Shrewsbury a few times, nothing untoward yet.

the location is good, central to the shops, restaurants etc and sights of Shrewsbury. The living area / kitchen is bright and airy with big windows and a view onto a nice garden. Others have said the living area is overlooked, it is not. It is possible to park outside the flat for a few minutes to unload luggage before heading to one of the many car parks
What would otherwise be a pleasant flat is badly let down by the bedroom. It was grubby and uninviting. The bed was badly made and had on it polyester grey sheets and an unattractive sludge green duvet. Bedding on a holiday rental bed should be white cotton. The duvet was far too thick for summer use. The furniture looks cheap, dark and old. There are no curtains only wooden shutters which don't stay shut and don't cover the whole window so the light gets in. When I stripped the bed on leaving, all the bedding and the mattress were badly stained (blood on mattress) and had no protectors on them. There was no sign of a carbon monoxide alarm with the gas boiler located in the bedroom cupboard. The electrical appliances had no sign of having been safety tested. There were a few things missing from the flat which should have been in it eg no hairdryer or coffee maker. The toiletries were pre-used by others and were inadequate for a two night stay. The toilet seat was broken. I was told by the host that there would be a welcome pack: this consisted of a bar of white chocolate and a small pack of savoury snacks. The door handle to the front door of the flat was very loose and will soon come off trapping the occupants inside. Parking information could be more helpful and the nearest reasonably priced car park is a great deal more than 3 minutes walk away.

My second time at this delightful accommodation close to the heart of Shrewsbury.
Large comfortable lounge area with a big dining table and well equipped kitchen.
Very good bathroom with shower.
The bedroom is a reasonable size for a double bed. It has good hanging space.
Very generous host who assisted us by allowing earlier entry given our mid day arrival in Shrewsbury. Very much appreciated.
Lounge / dining area windows still have no Curtin's. We arrived back one afternoon with two people in the rear garden area looking through our window. The room, lit up in the evening, has no privacy.
On day one we advised that there were no tea towels. We were told they would be delivered but they weren't delivered in the four days we were there.

Great location, close to park, local attractions, shops and public transport.
Spacious apartment, had most things needed for a short stay
Some things let the place down... oven needs a good clean, better kitchen utensils and plates would enhance stay, coverings for windows would improve comfort especially in the evening .

The old but modern features in the old house. Felt very posh which we liked.
No curtains covering big windows in the lounge/dining. Wooden shutters covering window in bedroom but easily opened one night somehow……
Parking, be good to have those loading zones reserved for clients even at a price that’s cheaper then parking in town and don’t have to walk up big hill.

Keys were located in a secure lockbox at the front door, and the code was sent to us prior to arrival.
The door handle to the flat is loose and caused us a little concern over whether it would lock properly at night. It rattles and feels very loose in the hand. The latch is also loose and at one point the handle of the snib came off and fell to the floor. There is a lug that needs to be tightened to secure the snib.
The entry in Booking.com states that parking is close by, which is it. however it is also £2 per hour between 8am-6pm, so if your planning on leaving your car parked; as we did, and walk around Shrewsbury, you may need to take into account another £20 per day for parking. There is a cheaper option, however it is 15-20 minutes walk away from the property, so beware if you are unable to walk far.

Property was well located. Although no parking at the property, we were able to unload right outside and there was ample parking nearby. Very spaciosus apartment with everything you need for a short/long stay. Would definately stay again.

We love❤️ Shrewsbury but that's really spoiled our out look on the town .It spoiled my wife's birthday.
The fact that we couldn't get into the apartment because there was no key left for us.It.was along way to go to get ripped off .

No basic kitchen equipment, can opener, corkscrew, chopping board, sharp/bread knives…..probably most people eat out but we didn’t!

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful spacious apartment in a historical building near Dingle park & the river. The location is very convenient to shops & restaurants & about 10 minutes walk from the railway station. The host is very generous, helpful & easy going, providing some free extras of drinks & snacks & allowed an earlier checkin. We stayed mid week & did not have any noise issues. Though the bed dipped a little to the middle it was still comfortable & the shutters blocked most of the light for a good sleep. The wifi worked very well for our simple requirements. This is one of our favourite apartments & we would definitely stay here again!

Spacious, comfortable, easy access with the key code with all the things you you need.
Plus, there were drinks & snacks left in the fridge and on the side as a warm Welcome - a nice touch by the owners.
Being picky, a bedside table would have been handy, but understand why there isn’t one with the layout of the bedroom.

The property was exellently situated for accessing the town and river. The apartment was well equipped, with great choice of options for watching the TV (probably the best provided I have experienced). The wifi connection was excellent. We didn't eat in, so cannot comment on the cooking facilities.
Unfortunately the rising sun shone into the bedroom, making it dificult to sleep from very early in the morning, in spite of the shutters. The mattress has seen better days and is not comfortable.

Great location! We had a fantastic stay. The decor was lovely and so well thought out. Some nice little goodies were very welcome too.
Maybe a microwave but understand space would be an issue!

Such a beautiful apartment. Its so spacious yet homely and in an ideal location. Tea, coffee, milk and biscuits were provided which is so lovely particularly when you arrive late! Instructions to get there were really simple, and the host Mike was incredibly kind, helpful and generous. I'll absolutely stay again.
Such a non-point in the scheme of things, because the shops are really close by. But to make it even more ideal maybe some shampoo/ conditioner would be helpful.

The location is excellent for the town and quarry park
The bed is awful, leaving us both feeling drained and totally unrested after 3 days of disturbed sleep. Desperately in need of a new Bed or at least a new mattress.

The property was excellent, from the cleanliness to the location. The facilities were great and it was even bigger than we had imagined. A two minute walk into town or the same to the Quarry Park. Would definitely recommend and will certainly go back again.
