The central location is great, with shops, market, eating places, pubs, park, river, attractions and transport (buses and trains) within a short walk. The house is quirky and interesting! It was great to have 3 bedrooms. No problems with noise, despite being in the town.
Due to the age of the house, you have to be aware of things like uneven floors and stairs, but these weren't a problem for us.

Generally clean and comfortable. Super easy access to the town.
Cutlery and crockery had to be rewashed as was not clean. Tricky with younger kids - stairs were quite steep and it got noisy at night due to the location being near the pubs.

I loved the location and the amazing features of the house
It wasn’t easy to find, some instructions would be good. Didn’t feel it had been thoroughly cleaned before our stay. And we would have loved some information about the history of the house.
