Great place for exploring Shrewsbury. Location is fab. Clean and plenty of towels.

Beautiful 3 storey house with 3 balconies overlooking the river. Great views, access to riverside walks and town facilities.

Complicated keypad system for access to carpark area to access buildings by foot.

Great location. Facilities were good.. communication was thorough and concise.

Even though you're on the river you can't see anything because of the large willow trees outside the windows. The stairs and floors are very creaky and can be heard throughout the house. Sofa seats are very sunken and the foam could do with replacing.

The house felt very secure with the gated car park. We had no concern leaving our car there whilst we explored the town. Having an allocated car park space was brilliant too. The property itself was in a great location and very nicely positioned to enjoy the town. Inside it was well appointed although we were only there for one night and didn’t have time to use the kitchen, but it looked good. It was good to have en suite rooms too.

Not much to complain about. Some of the fixtures looked a little bit tired and could do with a little maintenance, but generally there wasn’t anything of note.

The location is great, near the heart of the town, on the banks of the River Severn.

The parking facilities are extremely limited. In a property capable of seven guests, there is in reality one parking space. Housekeeping and maintenance need an upgrade; the kitchen table (leg) was badly soiled when we arrived, the kitchen worktop is broken, one hob on the cooker didn't work,the bathrooms need a deep clean, and several curtains need rehanging. There is no attempt a a guest welcome, not even by way of email, just access instructions and a whole list of "thou shall nots". Two dishwasher tablets were provided??? Edit following "Property response" I incorrectly referred to the "apartment" it is actually a townhouse on three floors. Ground floor - kitchen and toilet, first floor - living room and bedroom + ensuite, second floor - bedroom + ensuite and one double + one single bedroom. Parking: The joining instructions advise that there is one guaranteed space, and one on a first-come-first-served basis. Cooker ring: This was advised in the joining instructions but no attempt make to rectify.. This didn't make it any less inconvenient in a self-catering facility, in which we had arranged to dine in on our two evenings. As such, worthy of comment. Dishwasher tablets: Our stay was for two nights, plus breakfast on the day of departure. Counting out such items based on the (incorrect) length of stay seems to reinforce my impression of the welcome received. I didn't feel my review was unduly critical or pedantic. It is given to provide prospective guests with my impressions. If the points raised are of no concern to such people, they would obviously ignore them.

Everything was great. Nothing to fault with it!

The property was superbly situated - we parked our cars when we arrived on Saturday, within the very secure, gated environment, and didn't need them again until we left on Monday. The 3x double beds and 1x single bed were perfect for our requirements. Both bathrooms ( 1st and 2nd floors), were an excellent size, and, whilst the full size baths were great, the stand alone showers were very convenient. The ground floor W.C. was hugely helpful - us ladies of a certain age were very grateful for not having to climb stairs once we had made our way down to the kitchen/diner. The lounge on the 1st floor was very comfortable and the balconies on the 1st and 2nd floors, and the veranda/terrace area on the ground floor gave great views of the river and the surrounding areas. The communications from the hosts were clear, concise and extremely easy to follow. We had absolutely NO problems with gate codes, key safe codes, front door access, and opening/closing doors on to the veranda and balconies. Superb property.

The bathroom on the 2nd floor was a 'jack and jill' scenario, i.e 2x doors - 1x into the main bedroom and 1x onto the landing. Unfortunately, there was no key/locking mechanism for the door that was accessed from the bedroom.

The security for property and private parking was great. Central location perfect, very easy to find. Am looking to return to Shrewsbury next year and will definitely be booking this house again

The house was comfortable and in a great location. Very close to the town centre and walking distance to restaurants. It was on the river and there were balconies on each floor overlooking the river - lovely !

The entry instructions were daunting - code for car park, different codes for each pedestrian gate and different code to leave the car park and door key code. However that must be the estates rules so property owner cannot change that and once we had our heads around all that it was OK. Despite the size of the property only one patking space.

Excellent property and location. Key collection and facilities very good. Secure parking and close to all restaurants, shops etc.

Key safe was a little difficult for arthritic fingers - the release button kept springing back and not releasing key.. No big problem.

Its perfectly situated for the town centre, and overlooking the river which is lovely. The house is nice, over 3 floors with 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor and the lounge and another bedroom on the first. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed e.g. left couple of dishwasher tablets so we could ensure everything was left clean.

It soon gets a bit annoying if you forget something from the 2nd floor bedroom to bring down to the kitchen on the ground floor! Seemed to be forever going up and down so if you have any mobility problems, I'd give this place a miss. But otherwise its lovely.

Location is fabulous looking out onto the river, spacious accommodation. Minimalist and Modern decor

Loved everything ❤️ Just one small point from myself being only 5ft tall, the mirror in my bathroom (top floor) is too high on the wall.

Very well furnished. Beds very comfy.

Floors very squeaky Remote didn’t work well

The location was brilliant, with the river path on one side, and town with it's interesting shops and buildings the other. It was very comfortable and roomy.

The kitchen was lacking some basic equipment (a vegetable peeler, garlic crusher, a few more mugs ... things like that).

The instructions provided were very "shouty" and the access code on some of the pedestrian gates was not working. Salt and pepper would have been appreciated

The place itself over looked the river which was beautiful. Super location too, we were there for christmas panto , and the whole family had a great time.

Nothing major just one of the beds ( main big bedroom) the sheets had not been checked as they were dirty.

Fabulous location with a wonderful view out across the river.

Location is superb - close to the river for walks but a stone’s throw from lovely shops. Also very quiet. Loved the balcony accessed from the top bedroom.

Lovely, modern and clean, comfortable and a great location. Comfortable beds too.

Not mulch to dislike, perhaps could have more kitchen equipment eg. Lounge was upstairs but no tray to carry drinks and snacks up, but no serious problems.

The location is fantastic, right on the river!

The stairs are very creaky, which was awkward with sleeping babies upstairs.

It was very convenient for town & river.

The kitchen lacked basic items not fully equipped ie wine glasses, chopping board, no cleaning clothes /detergent. Not enough hanging cupboards or drawers in bedrooms. No bedside lights in 3 of bedroom only ceiling lights. Lounge very dark in present layout.
