Only stayed one night but will return

Best thing is the location, close to some great pubs & 2 min walk into centre of the town

Host kept in touch on arrival I left my earrings & the host is kindly posting them back to me

Single beds upstairs were not very comfortable. Everything else was good.

Lovely place

I had a lovely stay,Lee kept me informed about my stay before i got there, it was lovely little place and it felt inviting , Ideal if you were going to the theatre of just visiting the town and close the Quarry.

Two day break

Fantastic location just ten minutes into the centre of Shrewsbury.Fully equipped kitchen with table and bench seating,oven/hob, microwave kitchen utensils.We used the ground floor level for easy use of the downstairs bathroom.Upstairs another double bedroom and second two twin bedroom.Next door bakery and local shop.Very good Chinese takeaway two minutes away, highly recommended the banquet.Lots of other available foods in takeaway/restaurants in the immediate area.Added bonus is a parking space available at the rear car park, access via passage.Would definitely like to stay here again.

The stairs are narrow and steep as you would expect from an older property.Would have been nice to have a toilet upstairs.

Location good and central. Quirky wee cottage. Great communication with host. Good to have a parking space. Cozy and warm. Good storage in rooms.

Some of internal doors tricky to close properly, but understand it’s an older cottage. Could do with instructions on how to work the tvs.

Comfortable house, close to town centre.

Comfortable bed, plenty of nice big towels. Kitchen was good size with plenty of tea/coffee and milk pods. Nice selection of biscuits. Good shower. House was nice and warm. Convenient to shops, restaurants, pubs and very good bakers next door. Communication with owner very good.

Was it a bit noisy on Saturday evening, but this didn't affect sleep. Even though the house sleeps 6 comfortably, there isn't enough room to seat 6 in the lounge and the table in kitchen only seats 4.

Host was great - very helpful and accessible when needed. The cottage had everything we needed and more. Location is great for town access, lovely bakery right next door.

Beds could be comfier and less soft, some support to lift the single beds would have been great as they are on a slant.

Really enjoyable few days in Shrewsbury and super access to town; favourite pub the Armoury.

Super location for exploring Shrewsbury; convenient to the main town but much easier to park up. Lovely house with great mix of appliances, nice clean towels and laundry plus some surprise snacks! Excellent communication from the hosts throughout.

There was reasonable amount of traffic noise however this is to be expected at the location.

The directions to the lock box were clear and the host was available to sort the initial confusion regarding parking location.

The stairs are awkward for less able bodies but the downstairs bedroom much more accessible

Quirky and Super

Really quirky cottage with loads of character. The beds were very comfy. The WiFi was good and there was Netflix on the TV.

The parking space was, initially, hard to find. Once you know where it is, however, it's only a few feet away and very hardy.

Shrewsbury town house

Very good communication with the owner, excellent location and easy check in/out. The centre of Shrewsbury is only a short walk away. Great facilities, there was even a small enclosed yard to store our cycles securely.

The only downside is the downstairs bathroom but this didn't cause any real issues.

Shrewsbury Centre

Location was perfect, and a parking space was a bonus

Near the city centre but noisy and not comfortable.

It was near the town centre and the kitchen was a good size and well equipped.

It was on a very busy road junction, very close to the road so loud traffic noise at all hours. The beds were uncomfortable and the sofa was tiny and uncomfortable. There was only seating for 3 for a cottage that could sleep 6. The television didn’t show normal terrestrial programmes and only had apps to view programmes. There were also no instructions on how to use it or for anything else in the property.

Convenient location for the town

A brilliant location for centre of town, it is an old town cottage and quirky. Everything is there for what you need and a handy grocery shop next door. Good communications with host.

Sleeps 6 adults comfortably but lounge seating 3 person and 4 kitchen stools. It was fine for us as we only needed the beds.
