Relaxing one night stay

Great place to stay while travelling to Cornwall to split the journey up,lovely house very nicely decorated and having a garden was great as we had our four legged pal with us.would very much recommend staying here will definitely be booking again .

Stay here, you won't be disappointed!

Excellent property, lovely and clean and very comfortable, we felt at home immediately. We would return and would recommend as well. We had a small issue with the heating which was sorted in seconds by our host.

It would've been great to have two bedside units with plug sockets behind and an info pack with instructions on the oven, heating etc. However, that being said, it really is a great example of how a property should be presented.

Nice clean comfortable accommodation in a residential area.

We stayed here when visiting the theatre in Shrewsbury; parking on driveway and spacious clean house. Close to the lovely independent shops in Shrewsbury- which are worth a visit. Some nice eateries too. The Loopy Shrew very friendly & Csons lovely food.

It was all good. We had a small problem with the fan & bathroom window but it was us! We hadn’t switched it on!

Location - easy to get into town

The whole house needed to have a thorough deep clean. All windows were badly marked. Dust behind doors and on skirting boards was unacceptable. Shower panel was green at the base.

Great stay for families

House was lovely decorated and felt like a hotel appartment with a fresh feel to it. Lounge area was spacious with big tv and kitchen diner was good as well with nice views and access to the garden out the back which would be lovely in evening especially with fire pit. Bedrooms were al a good size as was bathroom. Would loved to have spent more time here.

Good value for money with parking

Very easy to find this property, nicely decorated especially the lounge area. Loved the TV surround and fire. The dining area was also very nice. Larger garden than expected with a nice table and chairs. Lots of wardrobe space. Parking outside property was very convenient.

No handles on wardrobes in front bedroom. Could barely open them. Lack of cleanliness in kitchen let it down. Grill smelt of bacon and was dirty with crumbs. Oven handle was greasy. Extractor was greasy needed putting in the dishwasher. Shame because this is a good value very nice property. Just needs a bit more detail in the cleaning and it will be great. Needs more mugs, glasses and plates for capacity. A note with property info on it would have been helpful, re hidden drawers and oven switch. Also garden was nice and very large but there were cigarette butts visible in the flowerbed and on patio and around front of house.

The communication was good. The house itself was very well decorated and comfortable, with a nice garden and patio area. Excellent value for money.

Considering the house sleeps up to five people, there was less than one roll of toilet paper, which we did not realise till late that night. Luckily, there were only three of us, and we just managed.

Convenient location for a stopover on the way to the Lake District. Very clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Linen was immaculate. Comfortable bed. Lovely safe garden for dog.

Could have done with a chair in the bedroom and small table to put drinks on in living room. Heating was on at night which was quite warm.

Absolutely wonderful

The property is exactly as shown on the photos. It’s clean and well equipped and very spacious. The firepit in the garden was a lovely extra that we enjoyed using, although the house is in an area with lots of other houses it is very peaceful and off road parking was very helpful.

The only negative comment I could leave is that it was missing a potato peeler, however we bought a pack of three and have left two in the property for other people to use.
