The host was very obliging and anything we required she responded to positively

A lot fitted in to standard semi detached house with all the facilities you could want

there were only two working showers. We were told that the 3rd shower was cold water only over a bath which did take a long time to run

Fine but needs a massive refresh

It was a useful space for a large group and convenient location close to town. Our host was really helpful checking in and was fine that we had an unexpected guest due to our brother surprising us from abroad.

The showers weren't great - one didn't work and another was scalding hot. Bedding wasn't provided for all beds - for the amount of guest we'd booked (regardless of the extra), we could have used all rooms. Small things were strange like no bin bags, mattresses which weren't the same size as the bed. There was broken equipment like a blind and a lamp. It was fine for two nights but needs a big refresh.

The property is well situated close to town. Literally 5 mins to home bargains.. the way to every hinchers heart! And just 15 minutes if that to town centre where parking is so reasonably priced. Jo and her husband keep a lovely cottage well equipped with plenty of space and chairs to accommodate those staying. The Bifold doors into the lovely courtyard were great for when the kids were playing. Thank you for having us Jo!

Stag Do great house and location

Great hosts. Great location, easy to get from the A5, and head off to mid Wales. Worked really well for our stag group, good living room with table for beer pong/games Nice walk back from town if you forget to book taxi's well in advance. Would stay again.

A very pleasant stay in a quiet part of Shrewsbury with good access to places of interest

Good bedrooms with plenty of storage space and comfortable lounge areas. Well equiped kitchen. (self catering).

Property not as described will not be staying again.

Property looks nothing like photographs. Bath takes 1 hour 30 mins to fill and you can not use any of the toilets in the property at the same time due to the water pressure. Host entered the property whenever she wished when we were in and out which meant no privacy at all. Host demanded cash deposit then refused to refund saying there was damage to a mattress and duvet which was not true and made me think how many other people she has done this to. Host amended check out time to suit herself by changing it to 8am.
