Lovely Location

Location excellent. Lovely historic buildings surrounding the apartment. Quiet area . Nearby river walks . Minutes from the town centre . Cute design for restricted space. Lovely and warm. Single bedroom design particularly clever. Comftable lounge area . Shower good ( always key for me ) Facilities and amenities all there . Great TV offering included was Amazon prime. Books and games.

Difficult to park in the area. Some street parking away from the apartment. Not perfect for wheelchair or elderly folk. Cannot off load people or bags directly outside the doors entrance way too dangerous . Road dangeresly close to the door ( nice to see warning sign . .could easily get clipped by speeding car, truck . Lack of drivers speed awareness is a worry. Road should be one way , with speed bumps . Shrewsbury's has a lack of centrally positioned EV charge stations [ BE CAREFUL) Charge on way in is best. I will return though as its a small well maintained very cute premises in a lovely area.

A great little place to stay - but do take the "Little" in the name seriously :-)

Hi there, we stayed at the Little Cygnet for 4 days, to visit the town and a music festival. We did like a lot of things: - Communication with the hosts was great! - The location is fantastic - you can explore the City on foot, parking is easy to find (just drive across the bridge at the end of the road, and then its a 2 minute walk back ...). - WiFi was great, and everything was in good/great order (heating, storage, kitchen and kitchen utensils, a nice table to sit and work on, comfy sofa, good TV ... Bottom line: We will book again, next time we come into town (but maybe the bigger apartment in the same location, see below ...)

- What I did not like, was at least partially my own fault: The name "LITTLE Cygnet" fits. I am 6 foot 3 and overweight, and I could not fit into the tiny corner shower. Unfortunately the photos did not give me enough of a clue ... - It might have had something to do with October being the end of the vacation season, but both mattresses were pretty much at the end of their life span. Not only if you look like me, but also if you are 1,60 and lightweight (my wife) ... Both "issues" should be easy to fix, though (and I am certain the owners will do that asap).

Comfortable, relaxing stay.

Comfortable little snug for a one night stay. Shower cubicle is small but the water pressure and temperature are good. The smaller room is tiny but perfectly comfortable. In the instructions, it refers to the dishwasher and there wasn't one. However, it wasn't a problem although a sponge to wash up by hand would be handy. There was a scourer which we were reluctant to use on non-stick pans.We felt very happy with our time there.

A sponge for washing up is needed. And maybe a teapot would be a good idea.

A lovely little apartment

A nice compact apartment with a lovely finish. It was very welcoming and not bad for night in Shrewsbury.

It was so hot when we walked in. The thermostat was at its max for some bizarre reason. We had to open the door to the apartment to cool it down. The fan in the bathroom also was noisy.

Perfect home, great location

Had everything we needed for our stay, well stocked kitchen plenty of books and games and oodles of wardrobe space! Bed was really comfy. Great little outside courtyard. All very clever use of space and felt homely, very quiet outside overnight, it made our anniversary stay wonderful. Thank you for your kindness - we will be back! :)

The location is perfect, everything was clean and the price was very good. The staff went out their way to make sure me and my girlfriend had the best time, they even bought Prosecco and flowers for my girlfriend at my request and left a message from me to her on the welcoming board.

Lovely little accommodation - Parking an issue!

Fantastic accommodation that was perfect for me and 2 friends (a couple). The beds were right next to each other, separated by a sliding door, which we found hilarious. Noticed that there was a blow up bed, though that we could have used. There were biscuits, butter and lots of homely touches. Shower was great. Lots of games and books provided too.

Only challenge was that there is no parking, so we did have to drive around for quite a while to find some. Information on this beforehand would have been useful, but i couldn't find any. Also we couldn't work out how to switch on the telly.
