Everything … the snug downstairs was such a lovely place to chill! The amazing indoor market close by and Jonathan was so welcoming and helpful! Lovely big comfortable beds, spotlessly clean and the little welcome pack was so lovely ❤️

Cute house v close to centre and quarry. Jonathan was friendly and helpful and left a welcome package.

Nothing but the quaint cottage style means that there are narrow stairs and low ceilings/doorways. If you are mobile it’s no problem and part of the charm!

Thoroughly enjoyable stay, in well located quirky property.

Jonathan was available to hand over the keys, show us around the property and take us to, and return from, the parking space. The property was excellently located and contained all necessary appliances. The welcome pack was much appreciated.

This did not affect us, but anyone with mobility issues might find it difficult to access the property, due to it being over four floors with steep stairs.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely house. The location is perfect for the town and local attractions. Beds are very comfy. The top bedroom conveniently has an ensuite. We cooked in a well equipped kitchen, where our host had also left us a little welcome pack. The quaint yard to the back gives an open space to grab some fresh air. We loved the cosy sitting room downstairs. The house was spotlessly clean and well thought out. You can see that a lot of care has gone into this house and the purpose of it. It also comes with a parking spot, located in the next street over. We didn't need this, this time, but it is definitely an asset. Our host welcomed us at the house and gave us a quick tour of the downstairs and some information about the property. He was welcoming and polite, very lovely to meet him. If we need a stay in Shrewsbury again, we will definitely be checking this little gem out first. Thank you for a lovely stay and Merry Christmas

We both loved this house and we were both very happy with it. I would say, the house is over four floors, with steep narrow stairs (it is an old house) so if you have poor mobility or struggle with this, then that might be an issue. There was some noise, not excessive, but some times were noisier than others. Again, it didn't particularly bother us, it's the town centre so I think it is to be expected. The house was lovely and warm but you do get a draft from the front door. Again, being an old house, it is to be expected, not sure if that could be resolved. Only really noticed when we were sat at the table eating. However, I can't stress enough, this is a fantastic property and I would 100% recommend, in fact I already have!

A gorgeous find!

It was exceptionally clean with beautiful bed linen and towels. It was in a great position for strolling around the centre. Jonathan was very helpful

Wonderful Weekend Getaway,

We were greeted warmly by the owner on arrival and shown around the property. Excellent location in the heart of the town, with everything we needed. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. The well equipped kitchen was ideal for our needs, the beds were comfortable and the property was cosy.

The property is in a perfect position to explore the town without the need for driving. Beds were so comfy that I didn’t want to get out. We couldn’t fault the cleanliness or facilities. Overall a great stay.

The stairs are very steep so be aware if you are booking and have mobility issues.

Lovely few days exploring Shrewsbury.

Very nicely decorated and maintained and kitchen well equipped. Great location- easy access to the town centre and Quarry park walks. There is a lovely bakery just round the corner. Car parking is a bonus.

Perfect stay in Shrewsbury !

Lovely , quirky town house! Excellent location, 5 min walk to town with a free parking space. Hosts were brilliant, left us a welcome pack - which was much appreciated. Would stay again!

Just to note - as this is an older building stairs up to bedrooms were narrow but that’s it!

Excellent location in centre of Shrewsbury. Very authentic traditional townhouse, with loads of features over 3 floors, with spacious cellar converted to tv lounge. Steep staircases add to character !! Property was very well equipped and finished, with comprehensive welcome pack. We loved the rear yard. Jonathan and Lorraine are really lovely people. we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again

Perfect little gem in the heart of the town

This lovely little cottage was perfect! We all really enjoyed our stay. It has everything you need and we was very impressed at the quality of the beds and bedding. Absolutely loved the snug down in the basement The place was lovely and clean and the hosts have been fantastic. The milk in the fridge was a great touch, even though there is a shop opposite it came in handy as we got in late so the shop was shut so I was very grateful - and the biscuits went down well too! Smack bang in the centre of everything. We didn't need to move the car for anything we needed to do

It begins with the location - one couldn't hope for a better one, so close to everything, yet so quiet at night. Next, the arrangement for the house keys, so simple and yet so helpful. Jonathan's welcome pack is superb, as is the property itself - late Georgian, oozing character. Superb beds and bedding, and overall a marvellous find

Perfect for a breakaway

Our host was there to greet us on arrival, who then gave us a short tour and explained parking etc Beautifully presented house. Spotlessly clean throughout. Beds were super comfy, which is one of the main things I feel. Had 2 good night's sleep. Everything is available for your needs. Ideal location to everything in Shrewsbury. Somewhere special

We were staying in Shrewsbury for only one night en route to South Wales. This little old town house was an ideal spot. Right in the centre of Shrewsbury it made it easy to get something to eat and do a bit of sightseeing. The house is quirky in the nicest possible way and the owners have refurbished it to a high stand. It's well equipped, warm and comfortable. We also got a personal welcome by Jonathan the owner 😃

There's nothing to dislike about this property. It doesn't have 'on site' parking but you can't expect that in the centre of an ancient place like Shrewsbury and arrangements had been made for parking a short walk away and you are allowed to unload outside the house.

A wonderful house in the heart of Shrewsbury.

What a lovely, little house, right in the centre of the town. The host met us at the property, to show us in, and then to take us to the parking spot, a short walk away. The house had everything we needed and we were also left us a welcome tray of goodies...so thoughtful! The house itself was full of history, and we liked snuggling up in the cellar living room in the evening.

The stairs are not for the faint-hearted, but that to be expected in such a historic building. Otherwise, it was perfect.
