The Old Glassworks by Bevolve

The space, cleanliness and modern surroundings of the apartment.

There wasn’t a sofa bed as stated in the online booking app. There was Just a sofa in the sitting room. Sofa wasn’t comfortable as it was too firm to lie on. Also, the back rest section of sofa is too short. It doesn’t support your upper back, neck and head area. There was no suitable duvet in the small room where the boiler is located. The cupboards were affixed too high in the kitchen area for a person who is short in height. Same applies to the mirror situated in the on-suit bathroom. Also, the heating did not work correctly. There was lack of kitchen amenities such as kitchen paper towels / cloths to wipe work tops etc. The mirrors in the apartment were streaked and not cleaned properly.

Location and size was great, and off-street parking was handy.

Parking instructions were not very clear and a map showing where would have helped immensely. When we arrived there was still some rubbish in the kitchen bin. All three frying pans had their non-stick coating coming off so was a health concern if you want a stir fry. The bathroom mirror was not suitable for anyone shorter than 5' 6" as it was set high on the wall. No tin opener.

Excellent location. Easy to find

Had a few high level cobwebs snd not easy to find bed linen for sofa bed. Would have helped perhaps if a booklet was left out detailing such things.
