"Our Matera cave accommodation made our experience magical. We had a beautiful living area & our bed upstairs was cosy - a cave within a cave :). The location was in walking distance to the old and new..."

Nice unit, unique in the cave. Located at the base of the Matera Sassi (fun location, lots of walking/ stairs to get to the sights).
The room was freezing! I think the heater was broken. We went in May and the room was extremely cold - 15 degrees Celsius each day/night. Very uncomfortable! We told them and still no change. Wifi also did not exist in the room. The breakfast was also a single croissant/pastry and coffee/juice (not sure why it’s considered excellent). Better value places elsewhere.
