Excellent, super clean, naturally cool in the hot summer days without the need of air conditioning ( anyway available), comfortable and very near to the city center.
At the other side of the street there is a little square with a breathtaking view over the little but magic town.
The manager is kind, very helpful and always available.
It was a wonderful experience in a wonderful and unique place.

Siamo stati a Matera per qualche giorno e siamo stati in questa struttura. Ottima posizione, praticamente in centro. Essendo così centrale, non si arriva fin là con auto, ma nei dintorni ci sonk molti patcheggi sia gratuiti sia a pagamento. Struttura molto pulita, camera con bagno interno (non finestrato, ma non è stato un problema per noi). Letto molto comodo e temperatura perfetta anche senza aria condizionata. L'ho trovata pulita e molto accogliente!

Quirky apartment with loads of character. Fantastic kitchen area. Location is amazing- just cross the lane for the best view of Matera and for a fantastic restaurant.
Obviously the cave bedroom has no windows so that takes some getting used to! Also no door on the bathroom is a bit weird. Neither of these things should put you off though.

Clean and new bathroom and toilets
Historical things preserved under the glass in the floor.
Super location.
Mold on the walls
No night light (room is absolutely black)
No shampoo/gels
Breakfast was from prepackaged from supermarket.
No Internet connection at all in the room(mobile internet does not work).
