The worst place we've ever stayed
Almost nothing. Hard to like anything when the host lied about the features of the apartment. We left early as we couldn't even stay there. Trying to get a refund, but the host is blaming booking.com for their own errors on the listing.
Washing machine and shower were supposed to be in the apartment, but had neither. Still had 2 pictures on the booking.com website showing a washing machine. Our booking.com booking confirmation listed both of these as features of the apartment. Plus, even worse, water came out of tap brown and tasted horrible. The local host said we shouldn't drink it, so we were having to buy bottled water. All other water in Stresa, Italy was fine. Something seriously wrong with water pipes in this apartment to cause the water to be undrinkable. Very scary. It should be illegal not to post that water from taps is unfit for human consumption. We had to call to ask what was going on with the water. The bed is terrible. An ancient, hard mattress with a piece of plywood under it. The bed frame creaked like it was going to collapse every time you rolled over. Couldn't get a good night's sleep because bed was so uncomfortable. Loud, noisy people stood in the street outside the apartment talking in middle of night waking us up. This place was a nightmare and should be removed from the booking.cim website. DO NOT rent this place!

Nice, large appartement. Great location - right next to the old town in Stresa.
Electrisity quite weak, så making dinner was a challenge.
