We really loved being handy to everything - it was a short stroll to the beautiful lake front (maybe 200m), supermarket and laundromat across the road, and so many restaurants and bars nearby to enjoy.
It was great to be able to sneak out for an early espresso before the crowds got into town and perfect for an evening stroll to get gelato.
Communication with Oxana was excellent and her directions clear and concise. We found the links and videos of arrival instructions to be really helpful.
It was an easy walk from the train station - maybe 10 minutes
The cooking facilities were enough for us to be able to whip up a pot of pasta, but mostly we chose to eat out and enjoy the town vibe. Stresa does aperitivo very well 🥂
We had no issues whatsoever - Emerald Suites suited us perfectly

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la situation du logement, en plein cœur de la ville, à proximité immédiate d’un supermarché et des ferries. Le stationnement gratuit à proximité est également un vrai plus. L’appartement est très propre et bien équipé, avec tous les ustensiles nécessaires pour cuisiner. Enfin, le contact facile et rapide , ce qui a rendu l’organisation du séjour simple et efficace.
Quelques points pourraient être améliorés. Lors de la réservation, il n’était pas évident qu’il existe deux appartements distincts, ce qui peut prêter à confusion ; des annonces séparées seraient plus claires. Par ailleurs, l’annonce ne précise pas que le logement donne directement sur l’entrée de l’immeuble : malgré la vitre effet miroir, il y a des passages fréquents et un réel manque d’intimité visuelle.
Enfin, l’appartement dispose d’une seule fenêtre et le contact avec l’extérieur reste limité, ce qui peut donner une sensation d’enfermement. La séparation avec le logement voisin par une simple porte non isolée acoustiquement entraîne également des nuisances sonores et réduit l’intimité globale du séjour.

L’emplacement , le lieu était beau et propre
Les voisins très bruyants , on entend tout à travers les murs . La literie n’était pas à notre convenance ; mais peut être conviendrait elle à d’autre .
