Perfect house for a family gathering

A fantastic property for a family gathering over Christmas. Plenty of space and well equipped kitchen. The table set up for us all was lovely and the hosts were great and checked in on us and made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely book again.

Disappointment 😞

We liked the comfortable beds,all of the space,the parking space.

The piles of rotting fruit and pigeon feathers outside the property. No meet and greet as promised despite a heads-up that we were on our way. No acknowledgement of the special occasions we were celebrating. Restricted access to the hot tub due to it being unsafe to use for most of the first day of our stay. The water was well above 40 degrees and far too hot to use. Eventually someone came out to partially empty it and replace with cold water from a hose. One of the bathrooms unusable as the shower didn't work. When told someone was on the way to fix it sadly noone did. One of the bathrooms had a dirty bath with pubic hair in it. Also there was only one dish cloth and no oven gloves so self catering was tricky. No-one came to clean the dirty bath as promised. I am now repeatedly contacting this company re some gesture of good will as I feel I've only got half of what I have paid for but as yet not getting anywhere.

As it was only a group of men we coped with the issues but for women it needs to be able to accommodate them

No wardrobes, floorboards on landing lifting up, no mirrors in bathrooms for shaving, no outdoor seating . No facilities for cleaning ie hover or broom and mop

Fantastic group house! Would come back!

Fantastic space for socialising. Great communication, a bottle of Prosecco and balloons on arrival was a lovely touch! Stacks of parking!

Would benefit from a larger fridge freezer given the number of guests accommodated and also some outdoor furniture would be great.

60th birthday get together

Large property with hot tub on ready for arrival, good communication from staff and quiet location

A member of staff turning up at the property late afternoon and entering the property which really could have been left until 10am the following morning on check out. Property could do with a deep clean as things were grubby/dirty/greasy.

Could do with a bigger fridge ideally to the amount of people More bathrooms again ideally due to amount of people Beds were comfy but could have been slightly bigger - double instead of 3/4 size beds especially for couples
