The decor is amazing, and a very historic building.
We found it very comfortable for a one night stopover while touring North Wales in the car.
There was nothing we didn’t like.

The staff, whilst the building is gorgeous and the room is perfect, the staff made it a more memorable stay than other places.

Room size was great. Staff were lovely. Location was suitable for us exploring around North Wales.
Food was not great. Got dinner there one evening and it was very overpriced for the quality. Breakfast was included but not very good / varied - very fried. The room itself was not that clean - cobwebs all over. Shower was terrible - poor water pressure, took ages to wash my hair. The 'spa bath' was not worth advertising - sounds luxe but the reality was far from it.
There is random useless furniture dotted all over the hotel, Xmas decs still up at Easter. Just feels a bit like the place that time forgot yet they charge prices comparable with a 4 star hotel.
