A good option for a short break in Liverpool

The facilities were modern and spacious and the location was very central for sightseeing.

There were no Pyrex bowls for use with the microwave.

I liked that it was very spacious and beautifully arranged.

I didn’t like that there were construction works on the windows; there were workers making noise starting at 7 in the morning.

The space was amazing and was very well decorated and furnished. Fantastic location and was easy to follow the welcome instructions

There could of been bin bags to help with the cleaning up and also it would be nice to turn the heating off. But apart from the small things it's been amazing

Perfect for group of friends, great location.

Beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, lighting and furnishing well thought out for big groups eg big mirrors all with good lights. Well equipped kitchen, brilliant location near Hope St and in centre of town in 10mins. Despite the negatives, would still book again for a high quality place to stay in city. It costs alot of money so negatives really bothered me.

No parking, have to pre book to get best rates, not really possible to drop bags off at door with cycle lane and 4 flights of stairs so hard work on check in and out. Received daily messages before and during stay, was a bit much. Also scaffolding was up, we were told about in advance but a lot of noise from above while we were in the flat. Also en-suite smells damp/drainy, had to keep window of that bedroom open. Also denied request for late check out despite also being offered an extra nights stay as flat available on one of the many messages sent.

Best apartment I’ve stayed in years, especially in the UK!

Absolutely stunning, really thought out and beautifully designed. Spotless, clean and fresh. Loads of amenities with cutlery, cooking utensils, Prosecco and wine glasses etc. Great TV that actually works with all the smart feature programmes. Beautiful bathrooms that were pristine. Heating easy to work and easy access to the property. Best stay I’ve had in ages and we didn’t want to leave, shame I came here to stay over for work as I didn’t get to stay here as long as I would have liked! Great value for money.

Amazing stay for large groups/families

Beds are super comfy. Beautiful stylish apartment. Concerned when I arrived and it was a basement apartment but soon changed my mind after having a look around. No damp, very warm. Very well ventilated. All new facilities.

It was almost to warm in the morning but second night was fine. A lot of scaffolding which host gave us warning to before arriving so wasnt a problem.

Everything at 35A Catharine St Liverpool had the wow factor. The statement chandeliers were amazing, large framed pictures with stars of all eras made it so retro, kitchen area spotlessly clean, & had everything you needed, condiments, Lurpak, cleaning products, large tv & great couches, bathroom shower & bath & super clean. Bedrooms large super comfy beds, & one with en suite.

Beware the building work

The design of the apartment is lovely and the location is great.

We paid a premium price to stay in a lovely apartment but it was spoiled by building work in the apartment underneath. We were woken every morning far earlier than we would like with builders outside our window talking loudly and taking phone calls throughout the day. I believe we should have been told about this when we booked and the price discounted for the inconvenience. If warned we could have made an informed decision about whether to stay despite the building work or find somewhere else.

Lovely apartment and really great value for money - would recommend and stay again!

Great apartment with a good living space for a big group. Property was very clean and well furnished/decorated with lots of dishes and glasses. Helpful instructions on how to find the property and access etc.

Parking was a bit awkward, especially when dropping off bags for arrival, especially as there isn’t a lift. Ideally would have had more bin bags/dishwasher tablets/toilet roll based on size of apartment and people staying as we had to buy extra as we ran out. But all minor points - lovely stay overall.

Wonderful experience and we would stay here again!

Beautiful 3 bedroom apartment, practically new. Very clean and well maintained. Very spacious with lots of room in living room/kitchen area for eating and visiting together as a group. We were a family group of 4 adults and 2 children. The bunk bed room was a big hit! Everything provided in kitchen for eating and cooking at home. Great location within walking distance of restaurants, grocery stores, pubs, and tourist sites. Ubers are fast and very reasonably priced as well. Communication with hosts very prompt and easy. An awesome view of Liverpool Cathedral from the front windows! It as on the 3rd floor so just be mindful of that if you have any mobility problems.

We were a family of 6 staying for 10 days and the supplies were very limited - no paper towels, 1 dishwasher pod, no dish soap, no extra garbage bags, and limited toilet paper. Please consider length of stay when supplying these. I noticed that a previous reviewer had mentioned no hooks for coats in the entry way but we had a nice large hook rack so I think they take the comments seriously! And it was very helpful for those rainy days and wet coats.

A lovely decorated apartment in the heart of the city

The location is amazing, it's a 30 minute walk to the docks, 20 minutes to the city centre. And less than 5 minutes to the cathedral. The place itself is so tastefully decorated and equipped with all the necessary facilities. One of the best places we have stayed in!

There is no lift and the apartment is on the 3rd floor of some rather long flights of stairs, so it can be a bit cumbersome with large, heavy luggages.

Needed extractor fans in both the bathrooms. All the door handles need attention - esp in the main bathroom. Window in the room with 3 bunk beds didn't open - would be grim with 6 people sleeping there. Info on how to access the door panel should have been sent with the code, rather than hidden away in the handbook
