Clean & tidy. Very well located. Well managed. Good value for money.

Very clean and tidy. Kitchen well stocked with tea bags, coffee etc Good showers with strong water pressure. Heated shower rails in bathrrom was lovely. The hallway lights on a movement sensor is good. Heating control module in hallway is also very clever. Mangement company very responsive.

We had one major issue: there was inadequate heating in one of the bedrooms so the first night that room was freezing. Once we notified the management company a new heater was supplied the same day. Minor point: Finding the entrance door to the property was initially somewhat confusing as it is not obvioiusy signposted on 13 Blackburne Place that this was the access doorway to 20 Falkner St. Why not put up a sign?

Falsely advertised FLAT

Spacious flat

Block of flats, photos are of different properties, no baths like shown, falsely advertised, property access is on a different street that Faulkner street, no key codes until 5:30pm standing in the dark and rain, first door key code into the flats, then another code to get your key then up a couple flight of stairs to the flat, upstairs in the flat are dangerously steep be careful if not steady on your feet.

Overall the experience was good. Only problem was an incredible amount of messages that I received, 3/4 on a daily basis for different things that doesnt really matter as if they were concerned about us. Then we requested them to be in the house 2 more hours (You have to leave at 10.00am!!) and they didnt allow us. Thats very annoying as next day was thursday and there were plenty of time to clean the house. They didnt even offered to keep the bags there. If I can I will give them a 1/10 only for that lack of empathy. We were travelling with kids.

Good location

Flat not as clean as expected (crisp packet left in drawer, kitchen drawers contained crumbs, bathroom grouting needs attention). Facilities were adequate but basics such as dishwasher tabs, extra toilet rolls not provided.

The decor was gorgeous, and beautiful windows and high ceilings. The beds were really comfortable. And the price was really reasonable

Comfortable apartment in the Georgian area of friendly Liverpool, close to good restaurants & bars & within walk

Well appointed and comfortable apartment, which was well decorated throughout.In an ideal location with plenty of good restaurants & bars nearby. Comfy settees & beds.Plenty of crockery, glassware etc. The property is within walking distance of all the major attractions.Nearby shops mean you can easily stock up for breakfasts etc. Clear instructions on how to access the property & a useful guide.

There were no tea towels in the kitchen or dish cloths. We were a group of 9 which was fine, communal facilities might have been a bit tight if this was for 14 people. The towels were medium sized ( we felt bath sheet size would have been more appropriate for this price) and that there should have been a hand towel for each member of the party.

Good location

Wasn’t very clean (found hair in the fridge) and some parts of the property were a bit tired. The sofa in the kitchen area wasn’t very comfortable and wouldn’t be big enough to accommodate 6 adults.

Nice and cozy stay in a pleasant neighborhood. We especially enjoyed the comfortable beds and the beautiful interior! And of course the location of the accommodation with lots of great pubs and restaurants in the surrounding area.

There could have been more trash bins in the apartment. But despite that, everything was fine!

Memory making in Liverpool

Spacious, clean and well equipped

Uncomfortable sofa in living room and uncomfortable sofa bed. Also, no fault of host & stay but there seemed to be a hostel of some sort a little further down the road and as such, there were quite a few ‘intoxicated’ people hanging about. This was a little disconcerting for and uncomfortable for some of the group

Fantastic Location, Comfortable, Convenient and Beautiful

Fantastic location and favorite spot for a large group. It was our 7th time renting in Liverpool, varying sizes of apartments. This was the largest group (7+ people) and we could not be happier with the layout for that number of guests. Ages ranged from a 17-year-old to two 80-year-olds. Having 3 bathrooms was terrific. The size and comfort of the bedrooms were wonderful and well appointed. Having the extra pull-out couches in the living room for our son who lives locally to stay over one night for goodbyes was an added bonus. The kitchen had everything we needed for 4 dinners in and making almost all breakfast/snacks/coffee at the house over 8 days. Always a bonus was having a washer/dryer in the unit. Apartment looks out on the Cathedral from almost every room and had beautiful views of cobblestone streets on each side. The rooms were cool and breezy with big, beautiful windows even on the top floor. Our son's university was just steps away as was the graduation venue, some of our favorite restaurants, sightseeing and shopping a short walk away. Bold Street was a big hit with each generation of guests as was the slightly further Albert Docks. Cabs came easily to the entrance at the back of the apartment a bonus as so many one-way streets in Liverpool make this not always an option. The short distance from the airport with local buses heading in every direction only a short walk away as well as lime scooters at the corner for the younger crowd made getting about a breeze. Cannot say enough, thoroughly enjoyed by all of us. Highly recommend this apartment for its cleanliness, appointment, comfort, numerous baths and location.

Don't know, really loved everything, maybe a broom? but we had a nice vacuum so not needed. Possibly and extra drying rack? Everything was well thought out by host.

Spacious Flat, Perfect for Families

Booked this for family to attend a graduation ceremony at the University. Two parents, a couple, and two sisters. The space and rooms were perfect for this. It was really nice to have a TV and flex space in each room. The apartment itself was classic, pretty, and comfortable. The kitchenettes were well equipped, and made the stay feel very homely. You are of course, in walking distance of the Universities, Bold Street, China Town etc. Ideal location.

Bathrooms could be a little more purposeful, could have done with an additional shelf or towel rack. A few guest washcloths would also have been appreciated. There were a few minor maintenance issues, such as a broken toilet seat, but nothing that impacted our stay. Re: Parking - even if the listing doesn't have parking as an amenity, I do think it reasonable for the management to give sensible advice about parking in the area, as the suggested on-street parking is limited to 4-hours. We ended up parking in the Philharmonic which was not a problem, but staff was a little unhelpful and defensive when we got there to find that the on-street parking was not adequate for an overnight stay. Seeing as management sends you a *superfluous* amount of messaging upon booking, it can consider adding this to the shared information. Re: Messaging - the guidance and clarity did ensure an orderly stay, but this volume and frequency of messaging could be halved with the same effect.

Fabulous 2 storey flat in lovely area

Lovely accomodation for a group, very clean and comfy beds, everything needed for a long weekend stay.

Nothing major but the following might be good: instructions to get in...20 falkner street is the front of the house but the actual entry is at the back on blackbourne street. Would be better described as 20 falkner house, blackbourne street?! Sofas in living room uncomfortable. One dishwash tab each day would have been useful, rather than just 2 overall.

Stressful

Lovely looking apartment , good location

There were a lot of stairs with no lift. T here were menstrual stains,old laundry ,a broken spindle which my grandaughter could fit through a dirty kettle ,dangerous stairs which I fell down as they narrow of to non existence The messages prior and during our stay kept mentioning financial penalties we would incur if faults were found after our stay so our stay was spent having to document and take photos of problems I passed on these issues and the resolution team ignored half of them and said I hadn't mentioned issues that I reminded the I resent them copies of my previous correspondence to them in which the fall, bags of dirty laundry and they have ignored me ever since. There is only room to add a few pictures but I have more

Disappointing

The apartment itself was big -staff very helpful with checking in and were very informative.

Bin in bathroom wasn't changed when we arrived. Someone's sanity towels were visible. Smell of weed from a neighbour above (or beside us , not known which direction excatly ) was very strong in the evening/ night time.

Great place to stay for visiting Liverpool - everything is close by.

Lovely apartment in a lovely area. Communication and instructions before arrival were great - do read the arrival guide they send, it is really good. The Georgian quarter in Liverpool is beautiful, and this apartment is very comfortable and stylish to fit in with the area. Good facilities in the apartment that seem to cover all you need.

A few more coffee pods for the coffee machine would be nice.

Our Liverpool get away

We loved the area, close to pubs and restaurants but quiet enough for a good night's sleep. We were in the middle apartment, very secure. A coffee to get in the gate, another to get in the front door and another door the key safe, I just kept a screen shot for when we were coming back each evening. I drove to the Albert dock but I think there is public transport and for those who didn't mind a walk it was doable.

Faulkner Street

The apartment was stunning, we couldn't have asked for better, beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable. It was in a wonderful location with some beautiful eateries . .

The little alley and the steps and handrail to the house were covered in birds excrement and just a regular jet wash would sort that out, otherwise everything was perfect

Location was great.

The rooms were cold at night. Thankfully I’d read that another reviewer had said the same thing, so had packed a hot water bottle just in case. We were also sent so many messages while we were there about the stay. honestly this, felt intrusive and unnecessary.

Modern but needs a bit of attention!

Lovely apartment nice clean modern bedrooms and kitchen lounge area, had everything needed for our stay. Eg cutlery plates cups etc There were parts of the apartment which needed attention and could do with a lick of paint on doors & skirtings. But could do with the bathrooms being modernised maybe adding a fan & some ventilation. Called the hosts to request more toilet roll as there was not enough to last us 2 days & there were 5 adults, I was told they didn’t provide it & we would have to purchase more ourselves. We’ve stayed in other apartments in Liverpool & have always been provided with extra toilet paper.

Comfortable and characterful stay in a central, peaceful location

I have stayed here twice and will stay again, it is charming and super comfortable. The location is central and convenient, but still quiet. The apartment is beautiful, spacious, and full of character. The fittings and furnishings are high quality. The property is equipped to a high standard with everything a traveller needs. Warm water is plentiful and heating is easy to use. I have really enjoyed both my stays here and would highly recommend. Communication with hosts has always been smooth and easy, great customer service, and clear instructions for picking up keys.

beautiful apartment, spacious, well appointed, lovely carpets, great heating which was easily controlled. good showers. nice touches like tea bags and milk sachets. motion activated hall lighting was great for night times. staff in the town office were super helpful and friendly re luggage storage and taxi ordering. we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or stay here again.

These are minor points really - it really was excellent and hard to fault, but these are the only tiny things I can think of - a couple of us would have liked extra pillows. an internal chain or deadlock on the door would have been nice, as personally I did worry a little about who else might be able to access the apartment and didn’t sleep as well as I could have for this reason. we had a 3 year old with us, and a stairgate would have been a great addition, as the internal stairs to the bedrooms were very steep.

Great for a city break or family get together -good value -great location

Good property for 8 people, very good location for seeing Liverpool and specifically the Georgian area is a real find, good value at peak time, easy instruction from hosts on gaining entry , and hosts always in touch and contactable.

Whilst property had good sized bedroom , the living area was a bit small for 8 people. Just a question of taste -our bed was a bit soft compared to what we are used to.Main shower -whilst good - the main overhead outlet didn't work, but hand-held did - just needs a bit of maintenance .
