Bridge End Farm Cottages

We stayed in Willian Beck cottage, which I believe is the smallest cottage. This was cosy and perfect for the two of us. Waking up to the sound of the Beck was calming and I would credit it with some of the best nights sleep I’ve had for a while. The waterfall a short walk from the cottage was beautiful. Couldn’t ask for more idyllic surroundings. Both local pubs serve good food. We preferred The Brook House Inn as we found them more welcoming. WiFi at the cottage was exceptional - I worked during our stay away and was able to be in teams meetings and presentations with cameras on and no loss of signal.

We raised issues with both the toilet seat and the shower draining (it wasn’t draining very well and we were concerned that the bathroom would flood) we were advised that someone would be over on Tuesday or Wednesday. No one came - as I was working I was in on both days. This was disappointing. Parking at the property is tight with other guests of the cottages not respecting the allocated spaces and just parking where they fancied.

Excellent location. Full of character.

I think it is too small for a party of eight. The kitchen and living space is small. The WiFi was intermittent.
