Excellent stay in a modern and comfortable apartment in Valencia

Very nice modern and clean apartment in a quiet area of Valencia. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need (stove, oven, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher etc.). Good air conditioning. The beds are comfortable. The apartment looks exactly as it does in the pictures. Shops around the corner. Metro and bus nearby. Good connection to city center and airport. We highly recommend it.

Everything was OK. Only two suggestions: it would be useful to install a handle in the bathroom with the bathtub to prevent slipping. Also, for a longer stay, two sets of towels would have been useful. However, as there was a washing machine available, we were able to wash the towels.

Heerlijk verblijf in een heerlijk appartement

Een heel fijn appartement dat heerlijk ruim en schoon was. Grote keuken met goed werkende apparaten. Om echt uitgebreid te kunnen koken miste ik wel wat dingen (staafmixer bijv) maar de basis is meer dan prima. En ook fijn: een van de weinige appartementen waar ze naast de Spaanse “sfeerverlichting” ook wat lampen hadden met minder fel licht. Bedden prima; eerste nacht was koud! Maar de dag erna vonden we dikkere dekbedden, dus dat was prima. Wij waren er 13 nachten en je moet wel even zelf een keer je handdoeken en beddengoed wassen. Maar er is een wasmachine dus helemaal prima vonden we dat. Ook fijn dat er wat basics klaarlagen: koffie, thee, kruiden, olie etc. De locatie vond ik verrassend leuk: een sfeervolle wijk waar echt veel gebeurde en levendig met restaurantjes, cafeetjes, winkeltjes en kappers. Veel locals en het echte Valenciaanse leven. Een Aldi en Consum om de hoek en de Mercadona op 10 minuten lopen afstand. De metro Patraix (lijn 1,2 en 7) ook op 4 minuten lopen en die bracht je binnen een paar minuten naar de bezienswaardigheden. Lopen naar de historische stad was ongeveer een half uur. Ik vond dat leuk om te doen want genoeg te zien.

Het was niet dat het niet beviel, maar ik vond de app als sleutel wel spannend, ik liep altijd met mijn oplader omdat ik veel te bang was dat mijn telefoon geen batterij meer zou hebben en ik daardoor het appartement niet binnen zou kunnen. Je moet wel van IKEA houden, want het is volledig ingericht hiermee.
