A hidden sanctuary in Hanalei

The resort is like a peaceful little sanctuary that is tucked away from Princeville. The grounds are beautiful and the private beach access is the perfect way to start or end your day watching the sun set over the water and sea turtles popping their heads up to say hi. Our room had a great balcony with stunning views over the water which was the nicest treat.

We only arrived at the resort very late on the first day, and checkout was a strict 10am with no opportunity for a later checkout. In addition to a pricey room rate, we were charged a daily resort fee and a parking fee. Upon checkout, we asked if we were ok to use the beach for an hour or so before needing to depart for the airport. We were told that in order to do that we would be charged an additional resort fee and parking fee for the day. We tried to reason with the resort reception given that whilst we had paid these fees for our first day (but were not able to make use of anything due to the late arrival), surely 1-2 hours on the morning of checkout would not cause any harm, but no such luck. This was a really disappointing end to what was otherwise a really beautiful stay for us. In addition to this, there is some kind of machine/generator in the bathroom that would turn on infrequently throughout our stay, even through the night when we were sleeping. It was very noisy and disruptive and again, not something I would have expected for the amount of money we paid for our two night stay - hopefully that can be fixed for other future guests.

Nice view

No Wi-Fi for the entire stay. Not enough parking for renters. Restaurant not open for breakfast or lunch, when it was open for dinner, they only served pizza. For two nights the restaurant was not open due to lack of staff. Our ceiling fan never worked.

beautiful location, well kept, despite the challenges noted

the ac leaked in the kitchenette area whenever it was running. no one came to address the issue. had to go without ac.

the long walk from parking to the unit should have been clearly explained. I am disbled and it was an unexpected struggle to and from the room. hotel desk wouldnt provide transport to hanalei park shuttle which was over a mile walk , and no option to drive there and park. Also. all high top furnishings should also be disclosed for disabled people.

The Bali style resort with big lagoon style pool and spa is truly heavenly

Loved the view! Condo was very clean. The large painting & ceiling fan in the main room were beautiful. So glad to have the coffee maker bed is high but very comfy

As others have said loud noise comes & goes ad drips water from maybe the air condenser Thank goodness it doesn’t last long It has a little fridge bot no microwave fore our leftovers

Stunning!

We loved the room and the view! Very very very comfy bed!! And the view of the mountains was to die for! This apartment is more of an AIR BNB in the hotel so the extra costs apply because of that!!

The extra taxes on top. The unit already had their own seperate taxes(cleaning,visitor,bla bla bla) but what you don’t get told is on arrival there is a US$50 check in fee, $25 per day for resort fees and $20 per day parking. The place made up for it as it was so comfy and stunning views!! Just wish they didn’t add the extra in on arrival… as it already cost a lot of money!

Spring vacay

Loved the location, perfect to watch the sunset! Pool was awesome!

There weren't many food options around, so we had to go out for all meals. Although we did enjoy the meals at Happy Talk. The property is very hilly, so plan on walking a lot! The shower did not get very hot. It was lukewarm at best. It would have been nice to have a microwave or toaster oven to warm up leftovers or heat up something for breakfast.

Great stay! Would book again!

The view is stunning! If you can’t decide between wanting a mountain or water view, you don’t have to. stay here!! The views were amazing! The room was clean and comfortable. Looks exactly like the pictures. A couple things to note: there is a guest washer and dryer that takes quarters right near the ice machine super close to the room that came in handy. We were originally told there wasn’t laundry facilities close by but there but there is. You can hear through the joining door as mentioned. The resort property itself is lovely but a little out dated. The hot tub jets don’t work, the swim up bar shut down years ago, etc. the parking on weekends was a little frustrating if you got back to the resort late but not a deal breaker. With the views, location and room quality I’d still stay! The restaurant is pretty tasty! The sunsets from the grass area at the resort or down on the beach are a must do! The beach has great views and even a lot of shade!!!

The resort was outdated and seemed to no longer be kept up to its fullest potential. The resort fees and parking were expensive for what I feel we got for it. Resort fees are typical around Hawaii but the hot tub being out of service for 6+ months and other amenities lacking makes me wonder what we paid for.

El resort en sí es espectacular, está todo muy bien cuidado y las vistas son preciosas.

Nuestro apartamento no tenía cocina ni microondas. Lavar platos en el lavabo del baño no era muy higiénico. El ultimo día el staff que nos llevó las maletas al coche nos echó en cara no tener tips para darle. Entendemos que en EEUU se dan tips pero era el último día y ya no teníamos cash. Fue desagradable la manera en lo que nos lo dijo y esa fue nuestra ultima interacción con el hotel... una pena
