This Private 1B/1B unit features a King sized bed looking out onto your private lanai overlooking Hanalei Bay. It also includes a twin bed sofa sleeper. The kitchenette features a mini fridge, coffee maker, blender, glasses, dishes and silverware. The resort has coin operated washers and dryers located close by.

The room had the most beautiful views I’ve ever seen of the mountains. I felt like the room was so clean and the bed was very comfy. My only complaints are that I wish there were more towels already stocked in the room and we could not get the wifi to work no matter how hard we tried so we could not use our phones since there was no cell service. Otherwise we had a great stay! The building is a bit of a walk and the nene birds were really aggressive when we would walk the paths to our room. But overall good experience!

We stayed for two nights. Overall the resort is beautiful and the unit was great but there were a few items that ended up detracting from the overall experience. The resort restaurant was closed on the one night we were really looking forward to going. And then the coffee place was closed the next two mornings. One of the benefits of booking in a resort like this is the on-site amenities so this was really a bummer. The unit itself was at the very bottom of the property. Great view and closest to the beach (still a ten min walk), but unfortunately was quite a hike uphill to get to the main building, pool and parking lot. They have golf carts that can take you around (including to the beach) and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, but it still would have been nice to have been able to easily walk to the pool and our car. Overall it was a very nice place and had we stayed longer the closures wouldn’t have been as big of a deal and the only detraction would have been the property layout. This area of Kauai is absolutely beautiful and this place is very nicely situated in close proximity to Hanalei Town, Hanalei Bay and the amazing hiking and sights up north. If you’re staying longer and don’t mind a lot of golf cart rides OR hiking up a steep hill several times a day, this is a great place.

The Hanalei Bay Resort is heavenly. This unit, decorated charmingly, was very private and close to the round pool and BBQs. The kitchenette consists of basically a small station with a small refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave without a sink or stove top, similar to what you’d find in a hotel room. The AC unit was a nice amenity. So basically it’s perfect just not really a kitchenette.

The view out the sliding glass window is truly amazing. And the location of the condo makes it easy to get around and we really enjoyed the pool and restaurant.

The location of this property is perfect! It is close to 3 good beaches for snorkeling and the beaches are beautiful. It is also close to several walking trails and the state park. The property itself is beautiful and very well kept. The restaurants that are on site are very good except they are not open until 3. The staff at the resort are wonderful. The room is perfect for 2 people. The bed was very comfortable, and it was very clean. The view of the mountains from the patio were breathtaking. The resort is also a great place to view the beautiful sunsets while you're there.

This place was nice for a night or 2 in a pinch but it is very much a bougie resort. There weren’t very many restaurant options as a lot of places in the area were permanently closed and the restaurant on the grounds was busy with all the guests. There was no way to prepare our own food in our room either. That said the staff on the grounds were nice, the front desk staff however were not very helpful. They bombarded us with pamphlets upon check in and gave us pool towels and did not mention that we needed to return these to the front desk in order to check out. I’m sorry if this seems obvious to some but I have never been to a resort before. I also called the front desk prior to check out to let them know we were leaving and again they did not mention the towels. Upon getting to the front desk they said we must go back to our room (which was not close) to retrieve the towels. They made it a point to be rude about it too. I of course didn’t say anything at the time and just did as they asked. The best part about this place is the pool which is a lot of fun. Unfortunately due to all the negatives we will not be returning. Kind of a bummer but this place really put us off on a resort style stay.

We were attending my brother’s funeral and paddle out, the location was quiet with Nene geese visiting us each morning as sort of a special blessing. The location was perfect for our needs this trip.

We absolutely loved our time here. Really cute smaller unit that was perfect for my partner and I. My favorite thing was sitting on the patio with the gorgeous view in the morning while drinking coffee. Close to Hanalei bay and all the restaurants/shops they have to offer. Would highly recommend!

The views were unreal, I seriously felt like we had the best spot at the resort. I loved all the amenities of the resort, the beautiful pool, private beach, etc. The unit was beautifully decorated and and so comfortable. AC was a huge plus! Can’t wait to come back again!

I rented this room for my parents for their birthday. They absolutely loved the resort and the room. They had the best time. They said the room had incredible views and they were so happy to have this trip together.

Location beautiful like a Shangrila. Walls very thin and heard everything in next unit. Annoyingly high cleaning costs daily fees and even a $50 fee to check in! Studio quite small but fantastic view.

HBR was a beautiful place to stay! Nice walk to the beach and it was super nice to be able to take a shuttle back up after a good long morning snorkeling and playing in the water. We loved the pools and hot tub. One side of tgepool had a waterfall you could climb in which was super cool. Would stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay. The view from the patio was absolutely breathtaking and we spent a lot of time just enjoying the view. The kitchen area had a small refrigerator and a microwave with enough plates, glasses and silverware. Parking is far from the unit, but the hotel staff will drive you back and forth in a golf cart. Since this is a private unit, the hotel will not restock your toilet paper….we found this out. We would absolutely stay here again.

This resort was very nice but extremely spread out and slightly far from everything else in the area. It also takes a very long time to walk throughout the resort from the parking area to the condos. It is a very secluded resort with not much going on.

Although the room is pretty small, it was all we needed for our stay in Kauai. The resort is beautiful and the private beach is gorgeous. The only downside of the resort is that there is quite a bit of walking to get to the front desk, the car and the beach - lots of hills. Location is great!

This resort was great for my husband and I’s babymoon. The pool and landscaping around the resort was beautiful. The room was small but had everything we needed. More onsite food options would have been nice, only 1 of the 2 restaurants were open. 1 of them is currently under construction. Overall great stay at the resort, we would recommend!

Wonderful place to stay in Kauai! The resort is beautiful and well kept with great main pool and hot tub, perfect snorkeling beach, mesmerizing mountain views, and tasty onsite dining. The resort is large with some fairly steep hills to walk, but they do offer golf cart transportation around the resort. As for the unit itself, it was decorated nicely (updated) and very clean with great views from the back patio. I do recommend bring earplugs or noise maker for sleeping as the walls let a good bit of noise through when neighbors are present. Nice beach chairs, beach blanket, and cooler bag were provided in the unit and were all great to have! We really couldn't have been happier with our stay here.

Everything was great about the stay. Check in was easy. Some things to note: If hills are a problem for you this unit would be difficult. No pots/pans. We bought a small cooking pot at the store to use the bbq area. There’s a total ocean view out of the back patio that you can’t see on the pictures.
