Charles Alexander Short Stay - Ansdell House

It was very central. Beds were comfortable. Well equipped.

The property requires a bit of modernisation. The kitchen requires attention.

Everything about the stay was easy and the house was well presented, comfortable and clean. There was coffee, sugar, tea, milk which was a surprise as we have stayed in houses where this isn't provided. Communication with the host clear and easy to follow. Easy walk to the beach front and main area. Always seemed to be somewhere to park outside the front of the property. The little garden at the back nicely maintained. TV logged in to netflix and Disney already so didn't have to worry about that. All very good experience.

Great location and comfy beds. so pretty much everything you need for a few nights away.

Place need’s a good deep clean. All hard floors, door handles and the banister were really sticky on arrival. we had to give it the once over. Also there were a few others issues, Doors were really squeaky (i sorted a couple) and they didn’t close properly. bedroom door hinge hanging off and the toilet seat was loose. once all the issues are resolved the place would be pretty good but we probably wouldn’t stay again. these things should be looked at before renting it out small things make a big difference again once these issues are fixed it has good potential.
