Perfect location for Heidelberg old town

Perfect location, spotless apartment and I would definitely book again next time I visit family in Heidelberg. The bed was so comfortable 😁

Only one little thing, there was no shower gel or soap to wash with in the shower so we had to buy some as it's generally provided so most people don't carry it.

Excellent location!

The location is perfect! You can walk to any place in the city easily. The host is very quick in answering questions via WhatsApp during our stay. He sent us the video explaining clearly how to drive there. It was in German but you don't really need to understand it. He was so kind to let us use the parking a bit earlier than the check in time and also during the check out day. (Parking tips: Park at the place with the "no parking" sign close to the wall.)

It's hard to think of anything, but if there is something, it would be that the apartment is near the (not very busy) street so opening the windows mean a bit of engine noise. There's air condition though (which we did not use). And this didn't bother me at all. Overall, I would stay here again!

The apartment is one block from Heidelberg's old town. Its easy to access shopping, the Heidelberg castle, and the riverfront on foot from the apartment. The air conditioning is a great asset!

The property was clean.

we were asked to collect the keys from the neighbour and we did not know how to get to the neighbour. We spent nearly 15 minutes looking for the neighbour with our luggage. The kitchenette was not fully equipped as mentioned in the ad. No microwave, no dishwasher. There was no welcome instructions about the WIFI or disposal of rubbish etc. There were two flights of stairs even to go upto the lift of the property .

We certainly recommend this apartment

Located almost within the "Old Town" of Heidelberg, the location was excellent. The apartment is very spacious, a large bedroom in one room, with the living area and kitchen in the next room. The very comfortable bathroom accessed via a door in the kitchen. One small point that I would make is that the kitchen table and stools are best suited to tall people. We stayed for five nights in this great apartment - which is less than 100 metres from the main street of the "Old Town: and all the lovely shops there.

The apartment was beautiful - event nicer than the pictures. The bathroom is lovely (although note that the door is frosted so you can movement). There are plenty of dishes and pots for use with the stove (no oven or microwave); we didn’t have a problem making our breakfasts and dinners there. The location was absolutely perfect for exploring the old part of the city. It takes just a few minutes to walk to the Hauptstraße. We didn’t have a car and wouldn’t have used one even if we had it. We received excellent service from our host and his friend. They were incredibly responsive and gave useful advice. We were also incredibly appreciative that they let us drop our bags off early so we could explore the town. They also set up an extra bed so all 4 of us had a comfortable place to sleep. Our kids said it was the best rental so far on our trip. Things to note: there is no AC and just one overheard fan in the living room and stand fan in the bedroom, which is typical for the area. You do need to go up steps to access the building and then up a flight to access the unit. The door to the bathroom is frosted glass so, while it provided plenty of privacy for us, you can still see shapes of people moving around.

We would have preferred ac but knew going into it that there wasn’t any.

Great vacation!

The location was great! Safe place and close to everything. Alex was friendly and quickly responded to us. Laundry was used to be in the unit, but not anymore. The laundromat seems to be 5 minutes away by foot, but we didn’t use it. Safe box wasn’t working, but it was such a safe place. We brought our passports with us. If you are concerned, you need to talk to them before booking or arriving. There is a place that children played and it was perfect for my child, but she was too shy to play with anyone.

Schöne Wohnung für einen Besuch in Heidelberg

Ein wirklich gemütliche stylische Wohnung mit allem was man braucht. Ideale Innenstadt-Lage mit 5-10 Minuten Spaziergang. Es ist sogar ein Privatparkplatz vorhanden der auf der anderen Straßenseite liegt bei Hausnr. 54. Vermieter gut erreichbar per WhatsApp für Fragen. Kommen gerne wieder.

-Fantastische Lage (nur 5 Gehminuten bis zur Altstadt) -Parkplatz direkt an der Unterkunft -Super nette Gastgeber, die uns zur Wohnung begleitet haben und sich erkundigt haben, ob alles okay ist -Check-in war reibungslos -Genügend Platz für 4 Erwachsene mit Zustellbett und Bett auf der Matratze (und hat es nicht gestört, das war für einen Wochenendtrip vollkommen ausreichend) -Tolles Bad und sehr bequeme Matratzen -Trotz Lage an befahrener Straße recht ruhig im Zimmer! -Alles war total sauber! Man hat sich rundum wohl gefühlt Wir werden wieder kommen :-)

Die zentrale Lage, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sowie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe, die moderne und gemütliche Ausstattung, reservierter Parkplatz. Vermieter ist außergewöhnlich hilfsbereit und sympathisch.

An der Straße ist es laut. Man kann aber die Klimaanlage nutzen und die Fenster zu lassen. Das Einparken in der vorgesehenen Parklücke erfordert viel Geschick.

Der Abluftventilator im Bad rattert und ging selbstständig regelmäßig für 10 Min. an, auch nachts (26.08. 22:15, 27.08. 05:18, 28.08. 02:35 + 09:35, 31.08. 01:30 + 22:46). Wohnung liegt zur stark befahrenen Straße, Klimaanlage liefert keine Frischluft, so dass Fenster ab und zu zu öffnen ist. Schmutz in den Couchritzen, untern Waschbeckenunterschrank, im Badezimmerschrank waren die Einlegescheiben verstaubt. Wohnung sei für 1-4 Personen, aus unserer Sicht max. 2 Personen zulässig.

Im Juli 2025 waren wir für vier Nächte/Tage Gäste des Apartments und verlebten ereignisreiche und schöne Tage. Dass sie so angenehm verliefen lag auch an dem Apartment: wohnlich mit viel Platz, praktisch, zweckmäßig modern eingerichtet und in zentraler Lage zur Altstadt gelegen. Dieses Apartment kann unbedingt weiterempfohlen werden, zumal der Vermieter uns sehr freundlich, entgegenkommend und fürsorglich begegnete. Alles war gut durchdacht und organisiert, sogar das kurze Video für eine stressfreie Anreise überzeugte. Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung mit toller Lage

Wir hatten einen kurzen, aber sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet, gut ausgestattet und liegt in zentraler Lage. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen!

Cómodo

Pido siempre que tenga ascensor y cochera. Gran sorpresa al ver que tenía 2 tramos de escalera para llegar al ascensor. Eso se debe aclarar. Acarrear valijas grandes por escalera, no sólo por el peso sino también con hielo y nieve, se hace peligroso.
