Perfect stay to discover Heidelberg

This was een perfectly clean apartment in a great location to discover the lovely town of Heidelberg. The contact with Dieter through WhatsApp was great. There are a lot of nice games and puzzles and a nice drink and snacks are waiting for you.

Nothing. Maybe the street can be a bit noisy in the morning, but you are next to the main street. So it's quite normal.

This is a great apartment, spacious and clean. The overall style is just the right blend of modern and characterful. The location was great right in the Old Town, within walking distance of all the main sights and a good selection of eateries. Communication with the host was good.

Wonderful apartment in a great location, in a super city

The apartment is spacious, elegantly furnished, immaculately cleaned , in a great location. Heidelberg is a fabulous city and we would have liked a few more days

Nothing wrong, I would recommend you read host Dieter’s instructions, i was in a rush and didn’t do it, so caused a bit of a fuss at the last minute, totally my fault but just want to make sure another guest doesn’t make my mistake

Fabulous central spacious apartment

We loved the location. Spotlessly clean, fully equipped, quiet, safe, consumables supplied (loo rolls, detergents, wash gels). Dieter had also provided a few kind welcoming items which was very nice.

Excellent apartment

The apartment is huge, stylish and very well appointed. It’s right on the edge of the old town and most of the sites are in easy walking distance. There is a supermarket across the street which makes it easy to get provisions. Communication with the host is detailed and prompt. Excellent experience

The best of Heidelberg and we have lived and worked there in the past

Its location on a side street that was relatively quiet yet available in a minute to the Hauptstrasse and Bismarkplatz where you would fine most anything you would need or want. The quick walk the opposite way to the Neckar River. Spacious and modern more like a home than a hotel, with all needs of a home, such as a washer.

A terrific comfortable stay in Heidelberg Aldstadt

Host communicated well re collecting keys. Location was extremely convenient for all shops and for walking to all sights. Fully equipped apartment including bed linen and towels. Lovely art books, lots of games, pretty towels, nice kitchenwares etc.

We really couldn't fault this apartment.

beautiful, bright space, and I loved the outdoor sofa upstairs in the morning sun. And Dieter made everything easy - even keeping my suitcase safe for me for a few hours after check-out

the terraces downstairs were a little sad - they could have used some plants.

Very nice apartment, cosy and comfortable. Perfect location in the Altstadt, everything easy to reach within walking distance. Very friendly host, helpful, and he left some sweets for us and a bottle of bubbles. I can recommend this apartment at any time.

Fabulous home away from home in great location to visit old Heidelberg.

Great location , close to everything yet quiet.Huge space in apartment however not the weather to enjoy the balconies. Host gave great instructions as to how to access the property. Washing machine was a bonus.

I really liked the accommodation, but the host was the worst.

I liked the location, the condition of the accommodation, and the bedding, and I was happy during my stay. however..

I clearly stated in the message that I did not know how to use a dishwasher. Since I used oil to cook, I didn't think it would clean properly in the dishwasher. So I washed the bowl really hard by hand. The reason I put the dishes in the sink was because I thought I needed to dry them. This is because mold may form if left wet. In Germany, they said they would return plastic bottles for money, so they collected them and put them away. I'm sorry about the foreign matter in the toilet. Honestly, I didn't know either. However, there were no cleaning brushes nearby. The host took a picture of this and sent it to me, like a test proctor. It made me into a ruthless person who has no consideration or respect for others. I wanted to make it as clean as possible, so I tidied up my hair and bedding in the bathroom and came out. In short, I know that I shouldn't do anything carelessly just because I paid for it. However, I think it makes absolutely no sense to expect customers to come out with a perfect cleaning. If I hadn't tried hard, I would have left without the bowl itself. I wouldn't have been in a hurry to wake up in the morning and clean up. I was very disappointed in his inconsiderateness. The only blemish on my trip to Germany was this host. If the host wants guests to use the dishwasher, post a notice. If you want your bathroom to be spotlessly clean, keep a cleaning brush handy. And be warned, write immaculately. I'm not good at English, so I used a translator to write it down. I hope my intention was well conveyed.

This was an exceptional apartment. It had everything and was very clean. Dieter had also included some treats....sweets and peanuts and bottle wine....they were so much appreciated. Bed was very comfortable and the location perfect. We would very much recommend this apartment to anyone. It deserves higher than a 10!!

Beautiful, fully equipped, tidy apartment with very neat design. The building is literally in the middle of old town, everything you need is in walking distance. Dieter was very nice and easy to contact. He also left some welcome surprises for us. We would absolutely book this place over and over again!

Perfect stay in Heidelberg

Location is perfect for us. Not too crowded, but within walking distance to the central of Old Town and Heidelberg Castle. Tram is only around 300meters. There's Rewe supermarket and a lot of choices for restaurants nearby. We love that the apartment is very spacious, with its own living room, kitchen area, dining area and bedroom. Kitchen is fully-equipped. There's also a washing machine. We really appreciate the early check-in after our very long flight from Jakarta. Dieter is also a very welcoming and helpful host.
