Hotel Bären

The room was clean and the location was perfect to reach Luzern. The train station is 5 minutes and the bus stop is practically outside the hotel. The hotel provides a visitor card that covers the transportation within zone 10.

The blinds on the window could have been darker. My kid got insect bites at night. The ventilation could have been better.

Parking was so easy and convenient.. huge apartment plenty of space for children.

No food place around or nothing

Great location, with a bus stop to the city centre right outside the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in and check-out were quick and easy. One thing to keep in mind is that there isn’t a reception. The reception area is located in the restaurant downstairs, which I believe is because the property is considered a guest house rather than a hotel. I never felt the need to contact the staff anyway, so wasn’t an issue. Housekeeping was done every day as long as you put the sign on the door. The room itself was clean, and seemed recently updated. The hotel was also very quiet, and the town in general was quiet and safe. It was a bit warm during my stay, mainly due to the heat wave, but fans were provided in the room, which was helpful. Upon check-in, they also asked whether I wanted to book breakfast, which i didn’t need. Overall, I had a very good stay and would highly recommend this place, especially considering the location, the friendly staff and the quality of the rooms. Will definitely come back next year. d to the price on other hotels in the area.

Would’ve been great with AC in the room, but wasn’t that big of a deal. Not that common in Central Europe, so it’s understandable. Others then that, no complains.

Like the staff behaviour , who attempted communication despite they were german speaking and didnot understand english. Due to the Language issue , it was difficult to even ask for more from the staff. Overall Liked the place and staff was polite

Breakfast could have some more options. In room Microwave for people who want to warm food and eat. More lights in the room. It was a bit dark.
