    The room was dirty,the sink tiny and blocked, shower sliding door dirty. All the metal around the room rusty. Windows dirty. No floor towel or mat when come out of shower the extractor in bathroom not working.It stated no smoking yet burnt marks on bedside cabinet and awful smoking smell in room and as soon as you enter the hotel. It looked like more for homeless. The only clean things were the bedding and towels. Somebody had dropped milk and all dried up so god knows how long it has been there.

    We checked in, saw our room (and uninvited guest), and checked back out again as we had no intention of sharing with a cockroach. The first issue we met was the strong smell of cannabis in reception, not the best first impression. Second was the state of the room and the uninvited guest. - There was a cockroach making itself comfortable in the dressing table drawers. - There was a burn mark, amongst many other dirty marks, on the walls. - The net curtains were stained and had holes in them. - There were dirty marks, and drip marks, on the drawers and dressing table. - The tiles behind the sink still had toothpaste splashes on them from the previous occupant. - The sealant around the sink was heavily stained, as was the seal on the bottom of the shower screen. - The bathroom flooring was ripped. - The bath panel was broken and stuck out which blocked the bathroom door, requiring the panel to be pushed in to be able to open it. - The toilet roll holder was half hanging off the wall. We didn’t stay in the room long enough to check the condition of the mattresses. The man on reception didn’t even offer us another room, not that we’d have accepted. For the price we paid, we certainly weren’t expecting The Ritz, however, it’s not unreasonable to expect a clean, well maintained room. We were left having to find another hotel past 9:30 at night after a long drive. We certainly would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.
