Cheap for a reason.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Bed was comfortable. Room was modern. Bathroom clean.

Cobwebs in the corners of room. Food from previous guest was left in cupboards. Floor not hoovered. Surfaces dusty. Bathroom door had clearly been punched as a big hole in it. Shower had one temperature, extremely hot and couldnt be changed, only turned on and off. Tissues and wrappers were tucked behind bedside tables.

For price its passable

The guy that runs it is great and friendly. He helped me find a charger and and an effort to get me one. Really appriate that.

The shower had hair in it and place riddled with mould. Had a strong pungent of disinfectant smell too. The shower pressure was terrible but passable.

Great value for money stay if visiting Preston

Great place to stay near Preston less than 10 min drive to railway station probably a decent walk on a nice day. Quiet surroundings. Fresh white bedding , towels and soap. Tea and coffee making facilities Tv Hot shower with modern bathroom Excellent value for money Definitely stay again

There was plenty of space

I had requested a cot for my 1 year old and was given a sofa bed. Cleanliness wasn't great and a lot of stuff in a state of disrepair, inckuding bedside table, door frame

Wouldn’t want to stay there again. But it was cheap but below any decent standard in my opinion.

The location was perfect for me and the tea and coffee was appreciated

The bed was hard , the shower head was in very poor condition and the tray had black mild around it .room was small and dingy. Also the reception area smelled of tobacco smoke it was obvious and obnoxious.

The only thing I liked about the proper was its location.

This was a last minute booking.. The room was small, dirty, stuffy and very tired.. the bed was comfortable but didn’t dare look at what state the mattress was in. We just needed a bed for the night but would definitely not book here again.

Wrong choice, looks like the owners just don’t care

No breakfast. Bed sheets and pillows clean and surprisingly the bed was very comfortable.

The owner / operator was not really welcoming and felt rushed to get us to the room . He said if you want the heating up turn it to 5 ..( it was already). The radiator although fully opened at the valve was freezing cold. The shower cold water wasn’t working ( on the mixer valve) so only scalding hot water meant I couldn’t get a shower. Room was worn and tatty as was my colleagues…. Although I didn’t find a cockroach in my shower like he did. ! Problem was I didn’t read the reviews first as I was so busy at work. Big mistake.

Well, there was a room and a bed at least!

Where to start.....torn wallpaper, broken hairdryer, barely working shower, dirty toilet, filthy, marked walls throughout, scored and scabby table, broken bedside lamp....and a small family of cockroaches for company too.

Everything, its dirty. It smells, I know you get what you pay for but it should at least be clean. The manager was sexist only acknowledging my husband and son and has no consideration for guests when taking a call at 00:15 though to at least 01:00 when only next door in the reception area. There was mould in the windows and in the cupboards, its not been decorated in a long time and does not reflect the images in the gallery. This hotel has been rated a 3 star and is barely even a 1!

Filthy rooms, rundown hotel

Staff were nice, lots of parking and in a reasonably good location

Room was absolutely filthy and clearly not thoroughly cleaned in a long time. There was poo in the toilet, crumbs and dirt in all of the drawers and stained surfaces, and a pair of jeans left in the wardrobe. I was worried to even sit down in the room and definitely didn’t unpack through fear of getting my belongings dirty. Shower was also cold and poor water pressure.

Scary place in dreadful state, but cheap.

The bedding and towels were fresh and clean and the bathroom was clean. There was plenty of car parking.

The hotel is an a bad state, the front door is smashed, the wooden window frames are rotten and the is lieeter everywhere outside, including a pair of trainers in the car park! The room was also in a sorry state, with peeling wall paper, ripped carpet, mouldy sealant, loose wall fittings and no hangers in the wardrobe. However the worst part is the other guests who appear to be living there, rather than just staying overnight, and seem to be drunk, drugged or have mental health issues. There is a lot of noise until the early hours and people coming and going all night, with cars in the car park and people smoking directly outside the guest rooms. I was very scared and didn’t sleep much and was relived to see my car still in the car park undamaged in the morning. I left as soon as I could.

I didn't like anything the bathroom was filthy. Behind the sink was green the radiators where rusty and overall if I could have got my money back and stayed somewhere else we would of done

The room was cold the curtains were yellow the pillows were like bricks and the room was freezing. The shower has mould on the grout and the room smelt of damp.plus there was a bucket behind the sink where it was leaking. The toilet needed a good bleach.The drawers and furniture needed a good clean as they were filthy and the floors in the bathroom were sticky. So overall I wouldn't recommend staying here.
