Booked double room very compact, nicely refurbished and looking clean. Would have preferred a room where there was a bit more space and the windows were far more accessible as so high up therefore no view and personally made me feel quite claustrophobic,also because room small and although there was a chair there was no room to move it from the position in which it was 'crammed' . Also I would have preferred fresher looking and smelling bed linen and towels, didn't mind that they were rough towels but they didn't look or smell freshly laundered.

We was a family of four staying at the hotel the staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us ,the room was spacious and very clean the bathroom was enormous we had a a full English breakfast which was cooked to perfection so would definitely recommend this hotel

Booked a room for 55£ too small looks like a prison cell Tv is facing different direction asked to change rooms told to pay 15£ extra.Next room too noisy like being on the motorway no shower gel not worth the money at all will never or wish anyone to pay for that place

Another lovely stay at St Andrew's hotel. Staff are very friendly, instructions for log in clear and easy to follow. Breakfast is great with lots of choice. We visit friends in the area from time to time and wouldn't stay anywhere else. Room is always spotless and comfortable.

Very friendly and helpful. Adapted our arrangements to accommodate our stay. Surprising very quiet despite being on a main road. Lorriane and her team were really lovely. We completely felt at home and relaxed.

Although the room was clean, there was a blood stain on the duvet cover and the room had such an overwhelming smell of scent that I found it hard to breath and woke up with a bad headache. The cooked breakfast was good.

Took the double bed option. Smallish room with a sink. Very clean and well presented. Toilets and bathrooms very handy across the hall. Good cooked breakfast. Handy car park out the front. For a cheap overnight stay to put me up after a night out with the boys in Preston i couldn't really fault it.

Easy bus ride from the train station. Ann who was on reception on 31st October, very friendly. Nice cooked breakfast & filter coffee. In room 2, the water pressure kept dropping in the shower. Apologies, forgot to mention on checkout. Would stay there again.

We stayed here for one night in a family room.two lovely double beds and a single bed. The bathroom was gorgeous very tidy and clean the whole property and the staff were extremely friendly. Would have no issue staying here again

This is a small, family-run hotel in the north of Preston. We stayed here for one night as we came home from holiday. The hotel was perfectly good for these purposes. The room and bathroom was clean and comfortable and breakfast was good. The staff were pleasant and friendly. If I have one criticism it is that the hotel is next to a busy road and so it can be noisy if you like to sleep with a window open (as I do).

Spent one night only as it was our grandsons graduation at the local uni.We had a five hour journey to get here and the welcome was much appreciated. Had a spacious clean room with tea making facilities.comfortable twin beds. Very friendly and helpful as the kind lady in reception allowed us access into the breakfast room before the official time as we had to leave early.

Lorraine was super friendly and helpful. The room was perfect for just a nights stop. You get what you pay for, it was cheap and cheerful and the breakfast was tasty!

It was a bit strange to have to phone the hotel on arrival to discover how to actually get into the hotel and check in. When we discovered that there was no soap or shampoo, we thought it was an error on behalf of the cleaning staff. On asking, we were told that soap and shampoo were only given at weekends! Told that we hadn't brought any of our own (on Wednesday) we were given both soap and shampoo. Seems very strange to us! The bed was rather hard for us, but that was a personal view to us. On the positive side, the breakfast was very good.
