The staff speaks hardly any English, and does not seem particularly serviceminded or friendly. There is no bodylotion, cream or conditioner available in the bathroom. And there is no where to put the soap in the showerroom - on the floor?! The least appealing part is the thin walls, so you hear far more than you like to from the rooms closest to mine. The breakfast is nice, and so is the breakfastroom 👍

Extended my stay & had to swap rooms as my previous room wasn’t available. The room was in the 6th floor and right under the restaurant which meant I was unable to get to sleep until gone 12am due to all the loud dragging chair noises etc right above me! Then got woken up at 6am with the same noises as they set up the room above for breakfast which then continued all morning. Massive contrast to my first 2 nights in a different room where it was lovely. Will definitely go back to the hotel but not in the last room I ended up in!

Great hotel, location, and upgrades overall. Surprisingly in contrast to all upgrades, the rug was in terrible condition (likely to be replaced soon and thoughtfully slippers were provided). The fan in the bathroom could be cleaned. Other than that, wonderful experience and stay!

Great rooftop terrace restaurant

The hotel and rooms are very nice, however they are not sound proofed as described. There is a bar on the roof that blasts music that rattles the whole structure especially the elevator shaft. I didn’t expect this at all, and when they finally shut off the music just before 11 everyone spilled into the street and since rooms are not sound proofed I ended up switching rooms to an inner room at around 11:30. Pretty annoying. Nothing against people having a good time on a Friday night, but my goal was basic hotel activity: to sleep and wash, so that didn’t work out so well. I feel management should decide if they are a hotel or a nightclub, and be up front about the noise. That said, great location, nice facility, and helpful getting me a taxi etc. Maybe this is only an issue on weekends. Definitely ask for an inner courtyard room.

Nice hotel in the middle of the beautiful historical part of Piacenza. The room was okay, but mine had an incredibly small safety box that seemed to be more than twenty years old, and the WIFI was downright lousy. The worst I had in Italy on my six-city tour. I would rate this hotel as a 3.5 out of 5, which is being pretty kind, but the prices for the room and the buffet breakfast were reasonable.

A well-located hotel with onsite parking (not free) close to some of the main sites of Piacenza and many restaurants and bars. Breakfast is served on the top floor which has access to the roof terrace. Unfortunately, rain prevented us from using the terrace at night after our restaurant meal but we could have some good views of the city. A substantial buffet breakfast was available but due to Covid regulations we had to make our choices and a member of staff provided the food for us. A good quality and value hotel.

Great hotel and amazing restaurant on a terrace with the view. Service in the restaurant is amazing and food delicious. During COVID breakfast is a challenge because they make you stay so far away from the food that you have to guess what's in there. If you have a large car, don't try to squeeze into parking.
