Nice location, well decorated room, perfect for one or two nights stay in Piacenza.

The property is at a very nice location in the historic part of Piacenza. The communication with the owner was fine, personally I like to meet in person with the landlord but this is me, anyway! The room is well decorated, has all the main facilities any person would need. The bathroom was clean and large enough. There is a shared kitchen space where you can prepare yourself a cup of coffee or tea, a toaster to make a sandwich, a fridge etc.

We stayed 3 nights. The only thing that they have to improve is the cleanliness of the shared kitchen space: they don't seem to replace on time the used cutlery and cups, cause they wait for the dishwasher to be totally full in order to start a cleaning cycle on it, so the third morning we were run out of cups, and we had to clean some in order to prepare a cup of coffee or tea.

Kitchen was very sparse. There were no coffee pods or any drink items. Towels were mismatched quite worn.

For one night, at the price charged, it was passable.

Central location, 5 minutes from Piazza Cavallieri, 5 minutes from Cathedral.

It wasn't a hotel; more like an Airb&b. No response when I rang the bell at the agreed time. I went to the Tourist Office, who tried to phone but got no reply. As I had an appointment, I left my problem with them and took my bags with me. Two hours later, they'd sorted me out. Even so, signage within the block where the room and the office were, was inadequate. The mattress felt new but the bed-springs were old and the bed sagged. In the bathroom, the shower, bizarrely, was at the top of a set of steps and there was nowhere to hang a towel. Coming down wet, the steps were non-slip but the steel handrail wasn't. No breakfast option, as advertised (but plenty of coffee shops around the cathedral).

A Central but Quiet Oasis

Although my stay here was brief, it was a very enjoyable experience. The host was so kind and friendly and made me feel so at home. She gave me a comprehensive tour and showed me how everything worked so that I could come and go as I pleased. The room was lovely and the bed and pillow were so comfortable it made it hard to get up in the morning! The building is situated in a lovely quiet area but is still right in the centre of Piacenza near to lots of nice shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

A very convenient location, a comfortable parking area, an attractive in-garden breakfast area

The room was small with a particularly inconvenient access (very tiny and steep stairs, a taller person would probably need to bend a bit at one point); a breakfast very elementary, far from generous indeed; the parking for the motorcycle was charged extra, on the top of already well overpriced room - that last though not being an unusual practice in the city, where lodging seems to be exceptionally expensive.

Humble and cozy just like grandma’s

Kind old lady took care of all details of my stay. It was a shame i had a stomach bug and wasn’t able to eat a lot from her home made cake and brownies.

it was an excellent choice for one night and enabled us to visit the town art gallery which is definitely worth a visit.

Perfect for one night while walking Via Francigena!

Loved that this B&B location was in the best location, so central and such a great place to stay. Nice welcoming owners. Looks brand new and very funky design. Breakfast was good.

Small but welcoming room in a quiet courtyard

Very good breakfast, and pleasant streets to walk around at night to a couple of old squares. Also near a very good restaurant in Via Carducci. It was useful to be able to park in the courtyard near the room.

Google maps kept sending us to the cross street AFTER the entry to the property in the one way Via Roma. We eventually found the gateway on foot. I have tried to correct this with Google and they say they accepted it - perhaps a good idea for you to check also! Driving round the one way system 4 times was a bit frustrating.

Beautiful B&B with minor (administrative) issues

The breakfast and the room were really good.

The host wasn't there for Check-In even though we told him the time of arrival. Just because a neighbor opened the gate, we were able to park the car. Also the key didn't work for opening the gate later. The parking costed 10€ extra and the gate to the parking space is extremely small. Also the hallway is really noisy.

Breakfast was Very simple and straightforward - cappuccino was delicious. Liked the fact that the place was originally a convent or monastery of some sort

Some information about the history of the place, maybe some better signage and better communication about how to get in the front. Also, it should be noted that there is no English spoken. Last, maybe a little card of suggestions for what to see in Piacenza.
