Fabulous

Fantastic location right in the heart of piacenza. Gorgeous hotel inside. Breakfast is served on the 7th floor with the most breathtaking view and wrap around balcony.

Getting to the hotel in our hire car. Piacenza is not an easy city to navigate as a tourist. Car restrictions, narrow streets, pedestrian areas, one way systems can all add to the stress in getting there. Also there garage for car parking is tiny. You would need a very small city car to get into it. We had hired a a fiat Panda and it was a tight squeeze to get into the garage and park the car.

Central and comfortable.

Although very central, we found the hotel to be quiet and peaceful with little noise from passing traffic or pedestrians. Our room was a good size and well equipped with hanging space. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast, taken on the top floor and overlooking the city, offered a reasonable choice.

It was nice to have a kettle in the room for hot drinks; it would have been even nicer to have proper cups/mugs, rather than paper cups which are not a comfortable match with boiling water

We enjoyed our short stay and would happily return in future.

The hotel was very well situated in the centre of the city and very near the main square. The staff were friendly and helpful. A real bonus was having EV charging points in the car park. The top floor restaurant and bar was very good.

The garage was terribly restricted in space, making entry, exit, turning etc quite difficult! The shower in my room was in the bath, whose surface was VERY slippery once the water was turned on. It was particularly dangerous when trying to get out of the bath and I had to lay a towel on the surface to steady the grip of my foot. It would be good to supply a mat to put in the bath when using it as a shower.

Well run, Staff are welcoming and helpful, the secure parking to the room was accessible, the room was beautiful, spacious and clean. Breakfast was ,spacious and bright and the view over the city was wonderful, Top Class!

The location was fine

I accept we were staying on the Sunday of a long weekend, but the staff could not have been more disengaged or uninterested. And €30 for a large gin and tonic and a double espresso is daylight robbery

Nice hotel in a fantastic location but not 4 stars worthy.

Location is fantastic, quick and easy walk to/from the station, and great view from my hotel window. Room is very spacious with a comfortable bed, and very effective shutters. Bathroom is a good size and toiletries are provided. Mini fridge complete with water and snacks was much appreciated.

I thought it was a letdown that there were only sachets of Nescafé coffee in the rooms. I expected better from an apparent 4 star hotel. I would always prefer a shower over a shower in a bath. Whilst a good size, the bathroom was very dated compared to the room itself. The noise from guests in rooms beside and above me was very clear so I was glad I had earplugs with me.

Friendly staff, good value, great location

Great location for an early flight from Milan the following morning. Staff were very friendly, advising the best place and cheapest place to park as well as recommending an excellent local restaurant for dinner. Loved the bar on the 7th floor. Rooms are well equipped

Room looked a little tired in places (mould on the sealant in the shower) - but other than that, this was a good hotel for the price paid

There is some hesitation in driving to the hotel as it is in a restricted area but you should be bold and they then register your car (assuming you have reserved a parking spot) with the authorities so you won’t be fined!

Room was very spacious, modern and comfortable. Bathroom was also big and nicely laid out.
