One night stay here visiting Salzburg. Well appointed, very clean and cozy hotel that is walking distance from main attractions in old town. Breakfast was amazing and even though we didn’t eat dinner at hotel, the restaurant looked beautiful and I heard the food is outstanding. The staff were so kind and helpful. They made check in seamless, we arrived by car and it’s not the easiest location to drive up to because of the pedestrian square. I believe it was Chris from reception, came right out to direct us and assist from the moment we arrived. Parking is available a short walk from the hotel. The room appeared freshly renovated with comfortable bed, crisp sheets, stocked fridge, coffee and tea, all complimentary. Breakfast was delicious and our server, Beatrice, was charming! Would highly recommend if you’re heading to Salzburg.

I stayed at this property with my mom for one night and our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! Seriously, it’s that amazing. The staff is SO welcoming, kind, friendly, accommodating, etc. We have stayed in quite a few hotels but we can both say this is a top experience for us. Excellent location, beautiful and spacious rooms, wonderful breakfast. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Salzburg and we hope to return ourselves one day!!

From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the elegant and thoughtfully designed decor. Every detail added to the luxurious ambiance, making it feel like a true retreat. The rooms were spacious, and the bathrooms were impressively large – a rare find! They were well-appointed, and it was clear that comfort was a top priority. The amenities provided were top-notch, adding an extra layer of indulgence to my stay. The customer service was truly outstanding. Every member of the staff went above and beyond, but I must give special thanks to Elrike, who was incredibly attentive and helpful. She made sure every aspect of my stay was perfect and added a personal touch that made me feel right at home. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing experience. I can’t wait to visit again!

A really lovely stay in a super comfortable boutique hotel. What made this exceptional for me was the kind, welcoming and professional team, with special mention and thanks to Ulrike. She was friendly and welcoming from our first meeting. That is what makes a short stay memorable. The room was nicely fitted and great bathroom. The breakfast was also excellent. I am well traveled and this boutique hotel stands out as compared to other places in Europe I’ve stayed. 1. Location, location, location! Right in the middle of old town, heart of Salzburg. Easy to find and accessible from Salzburg Hbf via bus (see Google maps). 2. The room is clean, comfortable, and I could not find a negative. 3. The host, she is a sweetheart that will make you feel home. The hotel staff also extended the same warm welcome that makes the stay even better. My wife and I stayed 2 nights and were very satisfied with our stay. I thank the host for her hospitality and I would always stay here whenever I return to Salzburg. Amazing stay!!

Property was very difficult to find but well worth it!! Off site parking in parking garage. You have to carry your luggage through town. Staff was extremely helpful in helping us find hotel. My stay here was excellent! They let me check in very early, which was very much appreciated after an overnight journey. My room was very clean, decorated so uniquely with musical elements, and the free mini fridge and espresso bar was so appreciated! They definitely thought of everything to make me comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and so decadent, and the server was a delight...offering sparkling wine and as much coffee and food as I could eat. The location can not be beat - steps away from the Salzburger Dom and just a block from the city bus stops. I've been to Salzburg many times and this was by far the best accommodations I've had!

The Hotel Goldgasse is a fabulous small luxury property in the heart of the old town of Salzburg and was both a phenomenal stay and an exceptional property. We were greeted by the owner Ulricke with hot towels, a welcome bag, a big Austrian hug and did not ask for any type of payment at check in. She took our bags and we went to our premium view suite #40 on the top floor with its own private rooftop patio deck. Fabulous view of the Salzburg Castle and the location is perfect.
