Speedy and friendly check-in, but provided a room with two single beds, when a queen bed was originally requested and confirmed before the stay. Very dangerous shower door (a disaster waiting to happen if it smashes, as it’s very very brittle), and a slippery bathroom floor. Ac and ventilation were both poor. Shower gel completely used in room. Room was very no frills and dark.

This hotel is in an excellent central location on a quiet street. Very very nice staff. It’s a bit dated and a bit old fashioned but comfy and the breakfast was decent and had variety of pastries, cereal, fruit, cheese and a couple of hot options. Would definitely stay here again. Very close to cafes and shops and restaurants.

Good location with nice staff. An old hotel with acceptable beds and toilet. What frustrating me most is the super weak shower water pressure (weak water pressure to the extend that the water cannot reach my face when i put the shower right in front of my face). It took me ages to finish a shower, its not fun when the weather is cold. I approached front desk for room change but it was claimed fully booked. If you have a choice, pick the lower floor rooms to ensure a good water pressure

Love this hotel!! Staff was super friendly and helped with information and also to leave our bags after check out so we could check out more of Modena. The rooms are clean and there’s plenty of dining option around the hotel. Plus, it’s in the center so it’s super convenient. There’s also a parking place 10 min walk away.

Excellent customer service from this well-located hotel. If you want to see Modena, this is a perfect location to do it from. The parking was a bit tight, but that's just due to the Old Town being built in the ages before cars 😊 The staff was super helpful for parking and taking care of the details so I could enjoy my stay. After booking this hotel, we were told it was closed (probably due to Covid) but they kindly upgraded us to a nearby hotel in the same group. Everything was fine: quick smooth check-in, polite staff, clean room. We just stayed one night.
