Absorbing

Great location smack bang in the middle of the town. Shops and restaurants literally on your door step. Very authentically Italian. Had a lovely christmas market in the town square.

Position, and just it

The price was like a 4-star hotel, but the service was like a youth hostel. The sheets and pillows smelled like they hadn't been washed in weeks. The elevator was broken, and the room, barely larger than the bed, was infested with mosquitoes on October 31st. Go to a hotel, forget this makeshift bed and breakfast.

Central location

A very bad experience! The property is situated right in the city centre - apart from this, it didn’t live up to our expectations and honestly it’s hard to believe it has such a high rating on booking. From the moment we entered, we encountered a toothpick right in the kitchen, next to the table (attaching photos). As the apartament (situated on the 2nd floor) was pretty stuffy, we wanted to ventilate it by opening the windows. The sight was unpleasant to say the least, the windows were filled with stuck pigeon feathers and a bad smell (rotten eggs) was coming through the open windows. The bathroom had been poorly cleaned, unfortunately, especially the toilet and toilet seat. We provided pictures to the host and immediately decided to change the accommodation, although this meant a lot of hassle as we were only spending one night in Modena and wanted to visit as much as possible. The host had a very unfriendly attitude and basically told us that the cleaning company provided pictures with the apartment which differed from our pictures and they chose to believe them.…although we provided evidence with photos. A very bad experience and a property I recommend you to avoid.

Great location and space but cooking facilities suboptimal.

Location great. Plenty of room.

Cooking facilities. We booked an apartment so we could cook some meals. Very difficult kitchen for cooking. 2 hot plate induction system. No real bench space. No rangehood. No oven . Miniscule dishwasher - but still good to have.

A spacious and lovely room in the heart of Modena

The room is very spacious with a comfortable bed. Everything was spotless. Laura was very helpfull with all the detailes sent beforehand. The location is great, very central with some great bars just around the corner.

Highly recommended- beautifully renovated, well-equipped apartments in central Modena with easy check-in and convenient

We were two families traveling together and stayed in two beautifully renovated apartments Canalchiaro 13 in the heart of Modena. Both were well-equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay. Check-in was very easy, and parking was conveniently available on the street in front of the building. Laura took care of registering our vehicles in advance, which made the process smooth and stress-free.

The only small remark is that the water pressure in the shower of the Home 3 apartment could be better.

Absolutely incredible location right outside the piazza del duomo!! So close to everything and made driving and parking within the ZTL so easy! Beautiful flat, easy checkin/checkout and overall a great stay! Very modern and updated with everything we needed for our stay.

Perfect place for a great getaway

Absolutely perfect. The apartment was great. It had a new and very clean look. Everything was spotless. The bed was nice and it also has a kitchen that you can use should you want to. It's located right in the center of the city so it doesn't get any better than that.

Nice location, clean room, but lots of noise from hallway

The location is great and very central to the main piazza. The room is very modern and has new furniture and decor. Our room had two large windows that let in a lot of natural light. There's a nice full length mirror in the hallway. Everything was very clean and organized.

The room was smaller than it appeared in the photos and it was difficult to place our suitcases somewhere and leave room to walk around. The noise from the hallway could be very loud and we were woken up many nights from neighbors coming back late or cleaners in the morning. One morning a member of the cleaning staff came into our room while we were sleeping and we had to let her know the room was occupied. Maybe a mistake in communication but uncomfortable regardless.

Beautiful place in very central location and super clean!

The studio apartment I stayed in was perfect and super clean. It's quite big for 1 person with a good-sized bathroom. The extra plus is the kitchen and community room upstairs. You can fix yourself a tea or a quick sandwich if needed. It was the perfect location for walks around Modena, and you also get fast to other cities by tain. Although it's located in the city centre you don't hear noise from outside. You may hear your neighbours when they are on the floor chatting, but that's an easy fix with a few nice words ...

Loved the location, room was okay

Location was amazing with the piazza at your doorstep. We enjoyed all the food options nearby, and there's also a laundromat about 5 min walk away. The room was clean, and had enough space for us to open 2 luggages comfortably. Our room was on the 3rd floor and there is a small lift which we used to take our luggages up. There is a shared kitchen on the 4th floor with amenities like kettle and cutlery - do note that these are not available in the room. Host is responsive when we contacted her on WhatsApp.

The room smelled strongly of perfume or air freshener when we first arrived, and the air con was rather weak despite adjusting the thermostat. In the end, we left the window open for air circulation and also to cool the room, which seemed to help, but it took almost a whole day for the smell to dissipate. Water pressure in the shower can be better.

Laura was very accommodating with check in time. The check in process and access was super easy. The location is unbeatable. In the centre, close to everything. The apartment is very spacious and super cool and modern although it is in an ancient building.

Cómodo, limpio y bonito.

La ubicación excelente, todo súper limpio. A pesar de que el check in era a las 15:00 nos dejaron entrar y guardar nuestras maletas (lo mismo para el check out) el cuarto super bien equipado.

Lo único que no nos encantó, fue la presión del agua de la regadera, y que se sale el agua y moja un poco el piso del baño.

Appartamento super in pieno centro

Appartamento stupendo, nuovissimo e ben fornito (inclusi stoviglie, piatti, tazze, macchina del caffè). A pochi passi dal Duomo è in posizione perfetta per visitare la città a piedi. Dalla stazione sono circa 15 minuti a piedi. Nella zona ci sono tantissimi ristoranti e anche un supermercato Coop a circa 10 minuti di cammino.

Non c'è reception, quindi la gestione è tutta da remoto: noi non abbiamo avuto problemi ma è importante saperlo.
