To be fair, my first two nights at this hotel were alright and the reception staff on those days were very friendly and helpful. However, the experience was ruined on the third night by one male receptionist who showed a shocking lack of professionalism and a terrible attitude. I returned to the hotel that night and wanted to inquire about the local cruise tours for the next day. Since I saw an advertisement in the lobby clearly stating that the hotel could help book tours and tickets, I politely asked him if there were any tours available around here. Shockingly, he dismissed me instantly, lying straight to my face that the reception does not help with this and told me to ask at the train station myself. I walked away, but then checked the lobby information board again which explicitly confirmed that the reception DOES help book tickets. I went back to the counter to ask for clarity. Instead of apologizing for his misinformation, the male staff asked me in a highly arrogant and impatient tone, "Well, what kind of info are you looking for? We do help book tickets but the customer should know what kind of tour he/she wants." When I explained that I didn't know what was available and that was precisely why I was asking for their help, he became even more impatient, aggressively muttering "Pilatus tour, Rigi tour, etc." without offering any real assistance. It is a shame that one lazy, rude, and dismissive staff member ruined the reputation established by his helpful colleagues. His contradictory information and unprofessional behavior completely ruined my last evening in Switzerland. I talked to the management the next day hoping they would take the matter seriously. The manager confirmed that the hotel does not only help book cruise tours but also get tickets for hotel guests. He patiently listened to my feedback and said the male staff in question had been complained by other guests before. However, the manager fell short of saying how he would follow up on or address the situation.

Beware! This hotel is not allowed to have aircon due to preservation requirements. I had to leave the windows open for "fresh" air but only end up smelling the exhaust from the restaurant below, not to mention the noise from drunk/high guests having a good time and rendezvous downstairs. No doubt the room is newly renovated and bed is comfortable but the need to keep my windows open for air spoils the stay. There's a "aircon" control panel in the room but its just there for show. They brought me a standing fan to air when I complained the room is stuffy. I was there in May when it was 17C so if you're there for the summer, good luck sleeping without air conditioning. Only positive thing I can say about the hotel is its location. So, no I wouldn't go there again, nor will I recommend others.
