A calm oasis in Bergamo

Spacious, comfortable seating and bed, 2 separate bathrooms, lots of crockery/glassware etc, and perfect location.

These were very minor things but there were no kitchen utensils like egg lifter or wooden spoons and a small saucepan for boiling eggs or heating milk would have been useful

It was in a perfect location, in an ideal part of the city. The apartment itself was very quirky & unique in its decor. There was everything we needed inside if we wanted to cook & wash clothes but there was no need in this trip. Our host organised a pick up & drop off from the airport & she was there to greet us on our arrival.

I can’t think of anything negative to say.

A stay to remember in a rare historic gem!

What a place! We love Italy and we love history and so it was truly a treat to stay in this beautiful historic home. The host is a curator and she has added even more beautiful fixtures to the apartment than pictured. It is spacious and stunning with unusual and delightful touches. The bathtub worked perfectly and the hot water heater was more than sufficient, which, if you travel much, you’ll find is rare. It’s not possible to overstate what an ideal location you’ll be in. Nearly every popular restaurant and shop is on the street stretching to either side of the apartment, and historic sites are steps away. It’s an easy walk from the funicular and the host was helpful in helping us procure appropriate parking and permits since we had a car. I’ll never forget our stay in this special place and this beautiful city.

Gorgeous styling, fantastic location, lots of space, helpful host.

Having to pay extra for bedding as we were 4 friends and not two couples (ie needed both sofa beds as well as bed). This is not clear in the listing and only one sofa bed was made up and one double bed even though though they knew we were travelling as 4 friends and had paid for occupancy of 4. There was no extra bedding in the apartment and we arrived v late so for the first night one person had no bedding. The induction hob tended to 'lock' . No instructions. A 'welcome manual' with details of how to use things, recycling requirements, restaurant tips etc would be helpful. Host was great and answered all questions but had to be 'summoned' - we would have liked to have been able not to bother her and work things out easily ourselves.

Wow, where do I start! The apartment is better than the pictures. The location couldn't be better with bars, restaurants, pubs, shops, and more. Our welcome was seamles, and Kristina helped with taxi transfers to and from the airport for us, which was super helpful and cheaper than anything we could find. She can also arrange taxis during your stay with enough notice, which was great as we were in Bergamo for a concert and didn't really know how to get back after it due to the time. Michele was our driver, and he was amazing and knowledgeable and helped us with bits of the language on the way from the airport. The apartment was clean and fresh. So well looked after and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. All the facilities worked perfectly like the heating/cooling, WiFi and kitchen etc. We can not recommend this place more!

The only reason for not giving 10 points was that we had to buy batteries for LED lamps and find the remote for soundbar in a closet. And no brush for dishes.

Beautiful authentic property in the centre of the old town of Bergamo.

Domus Dea is a beautiful, authentic Italian property located right in the centre of the old town. The apartment is spacious and comfortable with everything you would need. The staff that helped us were very welcoming and accommodating and their communication was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return!

Artistic place in the historical Cita Alta

A few centuries old flat refurbished in a modern way. Located in the best part of Bergamo cita Alta - old historical town. Accessed easily by bus number 1 from the railway station. Quick transfer to the airport by taxi in early morning hours, the host kindly helped us with booking a taxi.

The flat has an excellent natural gas heating system, but it is only controlled remotely by the owner. It would have been more convenient if it is self-controlled, Still the host was very helpful with the setting the best temperature.

Perfect stay

Spacious apartment, location could not be better. Good restaurants and small Carrefour one minute away. Nice host, we could first leave our baggages in the morning and check in earlier, which was perfect after traveling whole night. Recommended!

I would add 2-3 mirrors, especially one big in the hal. We were with 5 girls 😆 Sofa beds are cracking🙈

The apartment is really fantastic. Very luxurious interior.

The downside is that in winter, the floor is very saturated. Everything else was wonderful - very helpful hosts and the best location.

-unhelpful host. promised to arrange a taxi booking for us to the airport for early next morning, but never got back to us. -unwelcoming flat: no basic toiletries-not even hand soap, not a single dishwasher tablet, no milk in the fridge, when all the shops were closed... and the stove didn't work. -Flat advertised as 'Pets welcome, no extra charge' - but we were asked for £30 in cash for dog's stay and were rudely told we 'misunderstood the listing'. Host later apologised when we sent her a screenshot of the original listing. Host later arrived with some soap and milk and paid for our airport taxi to apologies, but it was certainly not a happy evening...

Wrócę na pewno!

Przepiękny apartament w centrum starego miasta. Wspaniała obsługa, Christina sprawnie nas oprowadziła i pokazała apartament. Było czysto i jak w domu. Blisko do wszystkich atrakcji. Odpoczęłam tam w ciągu dwóch krótkich dni i na pewno wrócę na dłużej. Pozdrawiam Was serdecznie i do zobaczenia wkrótce:)

Très bien

L’appartement est très bien, propre et bien situé. Kristina l’hôte est extrêmement gentille, elle s’est occupée de nous réserver le parking et enregistrer notre voiture pour rentrer dans la zone limitée.

Deux petits détails moins sympa: - matelas du canapé lit, juste ok pour des enfants - isolation de l’appartement, nous entendions les voisins du dessus comme si ils étaient à côté de nous. Mais nous sommes peut être mal tombe, ils étaient extrêmement bruyant. Bruit de la rue, RAS, car dès 23h la ville se vide donc ce n’est pas dérangeant

Parenthèse à Bergame

L'appartement est incroyable, la décoration est superbe et surprenante. La localisation au cœur de la Città Alta est géniale : les commerces sont accessibles à pied (bons petits produits italiens, bars, restos, et surtout les glaces!) et le soir on profite de l'ambiance de la rue avec les fenêtres grandes ouvertes ! Città Alta reste bien accessible depuis les parkings hors ZTL en basse-ville, avec le bus ou le funiculaire. Notre hôte était très disponible et réactive, et il a été très facile de la rejoindre pour le check-in.

Fantastiskt boende centralt i Citta Alta

Väldigt fräsch boende perfekt mitt på gågatan som går genom Città Alta. Flera restauranger precis utanför dörren och väldigt många vackra byggnader runt omkring. Personalen var väldigt trevliga och hjälpsamma och gav oss flera tips. Skulle mer än gärna bo i lägenheten om vi besökt staden igen. Verkligen en cool lägenhet med högt i tak.

Lite lyhört, men ändå väldigt bra isolerade fönster mot gatan. En dörr till toaletten i sovrummet hade varit bra.

Nádherný historický apartmán s modernými prvkami v úplnom centre starého mesta. Apartmán je veľmi priestranný a plne vybavený, na ulici sú reštaurácie, vinotéky a hned oproti potraviny. Autobusová zastávka s priamou linkou na letisko je vzdialená 4 minúty pešo. Hostiteľka Kristina bola veľmi milá a ochotná.
