Angela sent an assistant to provide advice regarding the house. The room was lovely and felt as cozy as home. Angela provided everything—drinks, food, and ingredients—which was truly wonderful.

This property was very well located with just a short walk into the main area. Great communication with Angela. Miss Maristella met us at the property and showed us around. Her passion for both the property and Bergamo was infectious. We could not believe the goodies provided we wanted for nothing. The beds were comfortable, the showers warm. We'd definitely stay again should we revisit Bergamo which is very likely as our 2 night stay just wasn't long enough.

Porta Dipinta is in a great location near the centre of Bergamo's Old Town with its historic streets and buildings. A 5 minute (uphill) walk takes you to the main street in the old town. A longer downhill walk takes you into Bergamo's new town with great transport links to surrounding cities, more shops and restaurants. Porta Dipinta offers everything you need while on holiday and the hosts are generous with the food, towels, bedding and other household supplies available to guests. The hosts even helped us organise a taxi to connect with the train journey we took to Venice.
