Beautiful stay in mountains

We liked the location (at the slope directly), the concept a la refuge, how quiet it was, no TVs, interior design in the rooms, the alpine vibe. Nice touch was the little handmade soaps in the room and that they would offer external heater, if the room felt cold. The service was warm and hospitable, especially Lisa, who went out of her way to make us feel welcome and at home.

We had set dinners and we found the choice of two meals too restraining - especially if one of the meals was meat that we were not eating and there was nothing to offer for kids. This has been corrected in our second stay, which we truly appreciated.

Attitude and altitude

Breakfast was of quality ingredients. Location is picture perfect.

Service was miserable. We were not made to feel welcome at all. Staff lacked passion. Go for dinner to experience the lovely location but do not stay over. Even then be careful with pushy sales to make you spend more.

Superb

the restaurants and staff were amazing, we will definitely come back. The location is unique, especially breakfast in the sun with our family was precious. The rooms are basic and beds are firm, but it made up for all the rest

beds are firm. We couldn't use the snowscooter on our return (only available before 9am and after 5pm), whereas our daughter was ill. this is something the hotel can't help, but something to take into account.

The staff and service was amazing. Best in our entire switzerland trip. They really went above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Location views were magical. Freshly baked goods in house for breakfast

The hotel is quite inaccessible, especially with luggage. Coordinating snoemobile pick up was challenging at time with the language barrier. Having to pay per person each ride seemed a bit much. The room was not advertised clearly as 'shared bathroom' facilities. Although facilities were very very clean. We had no idea this was going to be shared. Other listings on booking.com do specify ib the titles as 'shared bathrrom'. So given the above the price per night was high

chalet-style hotel with all you need next to slopes

The hotel is located just next to the ski slope (the slope was closed due to the lack of snow, but the hotel was still an easy reach). The staff was friendly and you felt like a valued guest. The whole place makes you feel like being in a small mountain hut, but with all the amenities of a good hotel. Food was excellent, view and location anyways

if the hotel staff could produce snow (instead of delicious cakes), they would have produced it for us. But hey, not their fault there was not enough snow

Lovely staff, atmosphere, charming location.

As mentioned by the other reviews, this hostel has thin walls, so a calmer and quieter music at the restaurant should be chosen so that it doesn't come to the rooms. Also the mattress is hard as wood... But yes, it might be the price to pay to get such charming spot in the Alps

Nettes Berghotel, aber der Service und Qualität des Essens ist ausbaufähig.

Die Lage mitten in den Bergen ist sehr schön. Die Zimmer sind eher klein, aber gemütlich. Beim Personal waren Konstantin und Jonas sehr bemüht und stets sehr hilfsbereit.

Nicht so gut gefallen hat uns, dass trotz mehrfacher Kommunikation vorab diesbezüglich, das Personal nicht wirklich auf ein Kind, dass glutenfreies Essen benötigt, eingestellt war. Das Frühstück wurde morgens bereits vor Ende der Frühstückszeit abgeräumt und der Tisch leer geräumt, obwohl davor dem Kellner davor ausdrücklich mitgeteilt wurde, es bitte noch stehen zu lassen. Das Personal wirkte hier leider sehr lustlos und chaotisch. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt beim Essen leider nicht. Der Fokus scheint hier auf den Restaurant Gästen zu liegen. Wenn nicht genug Schnee liegt, muss zusätzlich ein Taxi vom Parkhaus bis zum Schneetöff genommen werden. Das macht die Anreise komplizierter.

Auténtica experiencia en la montaña!

La experiencia fue increíble, auténtica y muy cómoda! El personal fue muy amable y nos ayudaron mucho. En todo momento nos hicieron sentir cómodos e incluso nos esperaron hasta que llegamos tarde por la noche.

Todo me gusto. La pista de esquí para bajar a la góndola no es para principiantes.

Gutes Zimmer, Passen sie auf wegen dem Znacht!

Frühstück war gut! Das Zimmer war sehr schön, charmate Holzausstattung.

Achtung vorsicht bei diesem Hotel! Sie zwingen einen das Abendessen zu bezahlen, welches 55 Franken pro Person extra kostet... Nicht kundenfreundlich gemacht, sie müssen sich wehren wenn sie irgendwo anders essen wollen. Bei uns war dies nur durch Überzeugungsarbeit und Kompromissbereitschaft möglich.

Tolle Lage mit grandioser Aussicht auf die Berge. Nachthimmel bei klarem Wetter spektakulär! Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Personal sehr freundlich.

Da die Unterkunft sehr abgeschieden ist, überlegt man es sich zweimal, ob man zum Essen ins Dorf gehen will. Entscheidet man sich zu bleiben, sind die Preise fürs Abendessen allerdings enorm hoch. Die Zimmer sind zudem sehr klein und man hört jedes Geräusch der anderen Gäste. Wer sonntags ausschlafen will, wird dadurch frühmorgens geweckt.

Sehr freundlich, zuvorkommendes Personal. Saubere Zimmer und Duschen. Z'Morgen essen war einmalig Klasse, alles frisch zubereitet.

Anfahrt mit eigenen Auto im Sept. ohne 4x4 fast unmöglich. Zu Fuss 1/2h hochlaufen eher schwierig als Familie mit Gepäck.

War sehr schön Uhrig eingerichtet, top modern. Die Betten waren sehr bequem, so richtig heimeliges Zimmer. Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker.

Die Preise für das Essen waren etwas zu hoch.
